We have a very 'winnable' November on paper. We have 3 home games against Hull, Birmingham and Fulham with Burton away after Hull.

We could realistically get 12pts from that. Anything less than 9pts would be seen as failure in my eyes and probably CW's too.

Wolves and Cardiff have the following:

Wolves
Fulham (H)
Reading (A)
Leeds (H)
Bolton (H)

Cardiff
Bristol C (A)
Brentford (H)
Barnsley (A)
Forest (A)

I can't see either Wolves or Cardiff getting 12pts from that. If we get a maximum return, we'll be top going into December IMO.

United are more than capable of winning any game in this division this season. Being Utd, they are also well capable of losing any game this season.

Until such time as the win is confirmed by the refs final whistle and i'm sat at home having post match chips n gravy and ten beers, I don't take it as a given what Utd will do. They are the master of the unpredictable.

Pointless predicting how and what they will do/should do. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. It's far more enjoyable.

I’ll take 7 points from those 4. Nothing is given in this league and those teams are now coming with something to prove rather than thinking we are relegation fodder. Burton will be the odd point to make up the 7, good old Cloughie.

Anything less than 8.

We are currently on 2 points per game and if we could continue aiming for that sort of form, I would personally be delighted.

If somebody offered me 2 wins and 2 draws, I would take it.... Although, I seriously doubt Sir Chris Wilder would have the same view as me.

I think Fulham are a team that's probably stronger away from home with their pace up top, reckon their side is set up perfectly against us.

I'd be happy with 8, but think we'll take 9.

It's a good time to play Fulham.
Not so sure given the reports I’ve read and the comments from their fans I’ve heard. They’re playing very well but not getting the breaks and it will turn. They were pre-season favourites with many for a reason. Genuinely don’t think there are any guarantees in this league. It’s one match at a time as last night proved. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves and sound like them from s6.

Isn't it funny how we're already comparing ourselves to what Wolves and Cardiff might be doing, who'd av thunk it at the start of the season?

I'm more concerned with how we perform, if we play like we have against Derby, the Pigs, Ipswich and Reading (for 70 minutes) then the results will take care of themselves. Hoping not to see too many more performances like QPR.

Setting fire to bonfires the night before used to be my favourite.

Bull roarers...stuffing newspaper up cast iron drainpipes and then lighting it; we used to love the very satisfying, deep roaring noise...before we ran off.

I'll take 9 out of 12 every month til end ot season......

I really don't think it's wise or there's any point to start comparing our games to the two teams above us. It's far to presumptuous and early.

I think we'll have a poorer month.

We may only get 5 points out of that lot. Depends on injuries and fitness.

Hull will be another strong team like QPR. I can see us losing. I think Birmingham will be difficult. They're on the way back up. Should beat Burton but Fulham will be a hard game.

Don't get why everyone is so et up about this, il be happy if we finish in the top half in our 1st season back, infact, il be happy in the Championship for the next 4 years, just happy with what's happening at the lane with the club, and I'm going to enjoy the ride!

Knowing us we'll beat three of them and lose sloppy to Burton

I watched them vs Wolves when I couldn't get a ticket to the Forest game, and they are by far the worst team I've seen all season, and I've watched Chesterfield twice

We'll get a minimum of 7 points IMO. I'd settle for that. Which would hopefully include absolutely hammering Burton.

You appear to be suggesting that United is the same as it has ever been. You can't mean what you've just said.

Fancy us for 10 points, however I’d expect wolves to get max points from there’s as there all very winnable games

8 to 10 points is promotion form
4 to 7 mid table form with 3 being home games
4 or less oh dear
ill go 7 or 9

if we dont beat this Burton team theres a split in the space time continuam
