It's not over yet, anything can happen between now and season end just got to win our games and that's all we can do

Interesting remaining fixtures.

Room for one more twist?

I've been trying to remain positive and use the Burnley game as a chance to swing it back in our favour, but even if we beat Burnley, we need them to either LOSE another game, or draw another 2.
Burnley and draws aren't out of the question obviously, but do we expect them to either:

A) lose 2 of their last 4 having lost just 2 all season

B) lose 1 and draw 2 of their last 4

We just need to beat Cardiff, Stoke & Blackburn with hopefully a positive result at Burnley too. That way we head into the play offs in some form

A double win this weekend would put us back in the mix, Burnley are over due a loss and I’d love, absolutely love it if we won them to shut a gob shite Burnley fan up on FB that I know. But it’s extremely likely they’ll win Promotion on Monday which will be soul destroying……

we’ll win Friday. I have no doubt.

I’m not confident of anything other than a loss or max draw against Burnley.

We can't catch Leeds.
With their GD, they only need 6 points from 4 games.

The incredibly slim chance we have is that Burnley lose twice, and we win all 4 games.

It's not totally crazy to think they might lose a tight game to Watford/Millwall/QPR.
It's just difficult to see us taking advantage of it.

If we got autos I will carry a triple aluminium ladder manufactured in China without safety certificates to anyone’s house and clean their gutters out wearing stiletto healed shoes whilst blindfolded
You'd better be wearing stockings and a mini skirt

Some very interesting games for all three of us, with a lot at stake in most of the games.

A draw or win for Oxford against Leeds, would probably secure safety for them, given Cardiff's poor form and Luton being inconsistent of late.

Cardiff are on poor form and are looking more and more likely to go down, with this match being huge at both ends of the table, and all the other relegation sides (bar Oxford) will have already played their games by then, if we win this, it all comes down to that Burnley game.

Stoke having back to back games against us and Leeds won't be ideal for them, as consecutive defeats could put them very close to relegation zone before their last match against Derby, even with the gap they have, they won't want to drop too many points between now and Derby.

Us Vs Burnley, we all know how big of a game that is, and depending on tomorrows results, it could be even bigger, and at least 1 of the top 3 could be promoted in that game, depending on the result.

Leeds Vs Bristol City, anything could happen as City are trying to get into the playoffs, but lost an important game against Burnley recently, I would expect Leeds to beat them.

Burnley Vs Millwall, this could be a big one, as Millwall are charging towards the playoffs in top form right now, and could go into that last game needing to win to get into the playoffs, at the same time, Burnley might need a win to secure promotion and possibly even the title, so this could go either way.

I don't think it's all over yet, we win all our games including Burnley imo, but we must improve on recent matches, that's obvious. It could come down to goal difference, that's where we'll lose out. The play offs are a lottery a back door promotion chance for a team many points behind third place, I just hope we don't regret the last 3 games where it might cost us the whole season

If Burnley lose at Watford today it’s back in our own hands. Would set up the 5:30 game lovely, cmon Watford 😅

There's no way Tom Cleverley is outwitting Parker today he hasn't got a clue.
.

Watford lead Burnley. Wouldn't that make Monday interesting...

Have a look at the remaining fixtures and corresponding results

Burnley:
Watford (a) - won 2-1
Blades (h) - won 2-0
QPR (a) - drew 0-0
Millwall (h) - lost 1-0

Leeds:
Oxford (a) - won 4-0
Stoke (h) - won 2-0
Bristol C (h) - drew 0-0
Plymouth (a) - won 3-0

Blades:
Cardiff (h) - won 2-0
Burnley (a) - lost 2-0
Stoke (h) - won 2-0
Blackburn (a) - won 2-0

The last week shows you can’t stake your house on this but you’d say that Leeds look pretty good based on past encounters. Bristol City might be seen as a dangerous game and then if they need to beat Plymouth and the latter need to win to stay up it could take the story to the final day, but you’d need two unexpected reversals.

Burnley is an interesting one though. They only took 4 points from the non-Blades games. A repeat would advance them to 92. I’m sure Millwall would be willing party poopers too. Point is there are droppable points in the lot. Watford home record is W12D3L6. Not the worst record by any means. QPR’s is W7D8L6. Again, not terrible and they have had spells of good form there.

If the Football Gods could just fuck of for the Easter Weekend and leave us be for once, there is a possibility even slight that we could squeeze in.

But we have to help ourselves, for all the two points talk, we’ve so far given Leeds 6 points and Burnley 3. Even one result our way out of the prior 3 meetings and we’d be top two right now.

I can seriously see one of those other teams taking points of Burnley and it will all come down to whether we can finally show up in a big game.

We’ve just got to find that belief.

Looks like your first Burnley prediction is out of the window. They are obviously starting to feel the pressure, strange when you are 5 points clear
