No robbery, all down to finances. They have got an owner who can and has chucked the kitchen sink at it and we have.....I will just the rest at there.

Regardless of whose spent money and who hasn’t, over the 90 mins I thought we did well. I didn’t think Wes had a proper save to make second half and we were comfortable, hence I felt we were robbed

All about opinions

Admin note: Infraction given for personal abuse
We're playing kids in the Premier League that wouldn't be guaranteed starters in League One and we're having to start players who basically haven't had a pre-season. They've made mistakes tonight, but the players gave everything and they, and Hecky, have been let down by those above them.
How have they? We’ve brought in 7 players. Fuck off to Hillsborough

Anyway going for a beer now in Arnold, I used to have budgie called arnold but I bet most of havnt got a clue where that is.....................toodles

First 10 mins aside, we absolutely matched them and actually bossed large periods.

Cruel to lose in the end but Traore didn't stick his chance away, their experienced striker did. Fine margins.

That's 2 tight losses, and plenty to be encouraged about after tonight's performance, considering we still have holes in the squad.

We'll make a go of it this season folks. Be positive.

Results based business, it is in any league. I agree about playing well, but robbed we was not. They have far more resources than us and it proved to be the 3 points in the end.

Yep i wonder sometimes about him.

Signed Trusty who i have no doubt would defend crosses better than either Egan or Robinson

But Hecky does'nt play him.

1 point thrown away there.
Freckleton was the stand out prospect in pre-season and didn't put a foot wrong, and yet he can't even make the bench.

We lost but there are positives.

Hamer
Souza
Norwood
Traore
Osborne
Larou
Ousala
Wes

great performance from these lads particularly. We scored a goal 🙌 and it could be in for goal of the month. Much better on the ball than last week. Kept it on the floor, could have moved it quicker though. Generally tried to be positive with it so won’t moan too much.

Negatives - creating chances, need an AM & striker ASAP. Defensively Egan has been shocking the last 2 games and i think deserves stick. 2nd goal he dived like a little flower instead of staying on his feet to defend, absolutely pathetic. He should be embarrassed.

Edit: robbo also didnt do a lot wrong today.

It's gutting. The new lads made the difference, but thought Norwood was superb, was everywhere. Not sure he will have many games like that, but enjoyed it. We actually were the stronger team in midfield, didn't expect that too often this season, it was in other areas they had that extra quality to call on.

Cramp lost us that game, Souza going off was pivotal. Larouche starts in front of lowe. we had 19/20 year olds with little 1st team experience coming on, had we had more experience on the bench that would have been our first point at least

Cruel game that Egan at fault for both goals. Oh for a centre half that will go through a brick wall to get his head to the ball
Spot on. Absolutely terrible for both goals and cost us the points. Any other Premier league level defender deals either them 2 routine crosses.

Tough to take, battled hard but think ultimately the difference in squad depth/strength cost us the game.

Was impressed by Larouci after being less than overwhelmed with him in preseason, thought he changed the game for us.

Hecky's arse is grass, and the prince has got a lawn mower!

Traore scores and we win that. Fine margins.
Better team for much of the game and lots of positives.
I think we’ll win more games this year than Forest and their awfully dodgy defense.
Lacking some quality up front as everybody and their dog except maybe the Prince is aware.

Could have gone either way after the equaliser. Looked like Egan got a big stove by Woods for the second. Surprised it didn't get checked.

Quite a few positives though: All the new lads looked very promising. Great to see Hamer knock in some proper dangerous set pieces as well as the goal. Vini looked like a proper unit. Traore looks good to me (wish he'd tucked away his chance though), and I thought Larouchi looked decent for the first time (although the odd wasteful ball and a bit lucky not to give away a penalty). I also thought Robbo and Osborn both had great games after getting a fair bit of stick recently.

Overall a lot of good performances tonight once we got to grips after the shite start.

Obviously, the goals were very poor and we end up losing despite deserving a draw, in my opinion at least, maybe even a win if Benie had kept his composure.

Personally, I'd have thought bringing on Davies would have made more sense than Hackford. Even if he's played feck all but that PL experience could have helped to see the game out for the last 15 minutes??

Vini Souza, Benie, Hamer (what a fuckin finish!) and Lorouchi really showed up tonight. Osborn , despite the fears, thought played well overall.

Really disappointed with the result, but that they really showed up tonight!

like saturday, if we forget the 1st 2 mins. considering our circumstances you couldnt ask for much more, players giving everything, they are exceeding expectations. hecky is already performing wonders. that 89th min winner was a cruel blow & i think undeserved i feel we should gave 2 games 2 draws, but substitutions proves the mountain we have to climb. we bring on 2 academy lads Hackford & Brooks & they bring on Chris Wood & Elanga which cost 35-40m

the club asking for patience, which i dont mind, but board are putting themselves under huge pressure to deliver & need to get the finger out of their arses in the next 2 weeks, as it will be huge, if hecky get the players he wants, we really could prove all pundits wrong, but if this still the team come everton, the prince is sports fan long enough to know anger will surface & we all know it wont be directed at hecky.
