I know this is tenuous but, hear me out. A close friend who is a friend of the brother of a board member. According to this source it was between John Terry and Blessin. But Terry withdrew interest. Leaving Blessin.
Apparently the board will leave Heckingbotton in charge until Blessin is available.
As I say, tenuous at best. But........

Tenuous and illogical. If Blessin is the next Pep, then he’ll be offered a better job than ours before he qualifies for a work permit. We could sit about waiting for him and then he pisses off to the Bundesliga. If I can see that, I’m pretty sure PA can. Which board does this bloke sit on because I’d can’t see anyone from Sheffield listed as a director?

He's failed to get the most skilfull team promoted for the last two seasons, will probably make it three. No thanks. Don't want Cooper either, not enough experience, decent budget, PL parachute payments, nothing outstanding there with him for me. Out of the play off teams the Barnsley manager impresses me the most because Barnsley were relegattion candidates before he took over, they've got a small budget unlike Brentford and Swansea, and he's foreign so that must be preferable to the board with foreign markets desired. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we are interested in the Barnsley manager, can't be bothered to look up how to spell his surname though!
Have you seen Barnsley play? There’s hoof and then there’s that.

Give over. Checking things out is frowned upon.

Was going to say..isn't the whole board based in Saudi Arabia...

He was holding on to some at the sides, for dear life.

Joking aside, he does sound a great prospect. My only question really is why would he come to us if he's achieved regular Champions League spots?

Wouldn't have been suprised if dear old Howard was holding onto the sides of the dugout

I heard we are getting Bryan Robson back as manager for another go.

Philippe Clement is one top candidates for the job⚔️

Has the highest shot stopping figures in Belgium this season.

Club Brugge manager, Philippe Clement, has emerged as a new contender to replace Chris Wilder as Sheffield United manager.
Clement’s name being brought into the fray is fresh news. The Examiner, citing reports in Belgium, claims that Clement has admirers at Bramall Lane.

Clement has led Brugge to the league title this season at a canter. The Belgian giants finished some 16 points above Antwerp in second.

Unlike Blessin, it is believed Clement wouldn’t have any issues in obtaining the relevant work permit to take a job in England. It is also expected that Clement will leave Brugge this summer, paving the way for a move.

I would imagine he will be having a drink
Used to regularly see him down a case of bud in my local

Chris Wilder just appeared out of the blue at 20/1 on sky bet to be in charge of first game next season
Lower price than Michael Appleton at 25s

It is possible to have a friend of a friend who isn't from Sheffield.
