£3M Lol
If we are promoted and he plays in 99.9 % of our games
Probable fee £1.5M
£3 million for Evans if it's straight up front is a bit steep.
What about Walker returning on loan?
It rises to £3mil based on clauses. They also have a sell-on clause.
@Foxy
do you know if there was a sell on clause put in the deal for Naughton & Walker?
Considering France has spent all preseason on trial at W*den*sday, only to turn them down out of the blue and sign for us.... he's just become my all time favourite United player ever!!! Just for attitude alone he deserves a Commemorative Wall!
you offered him a better deal, he took your offer.QUOTE]
I'm guessing the 'better deal' we offered was the opportunity to play for anyone other than W*dnesday!![]()
We saw a problem with his knee, we offered him a deal because he was dodgy and may be injury prone, you offered him a better deal, he took your offer.
Anyone would do the same.
The problem with his knee only really emerged this morning though, after he'd signed for the blades. Before that Mr Laws failed to mention it funnily enough![]()

Of course. It would be us lying.
BTW - the £7k rumour is wide of the mark according to what i've heard. If my source is correct, you are in big trouble if you couldn't offer him more
Do you think the positive spin on the failure to sign the other contracts is also a shining example of the truth?![]()
Mr Strafford said:Today is officially the great big spitting of dummies and going over board without understaning the full facts day.
Also happening today is "Ye Olde Fudders jumping in on the feeding frenzy whilst making sure that they don't use the ID's that won't get a following day."
Have at it dudes!!! - oh most of you didn't wait for the invite

[puts iPhone back and goes back to chilling out]
Guys you need to stop using the same phrases as GHO bluewotsisname ben et al!!!!
Sorry only trying to help as clearly you are never gonna move on so I thought it would be more interesting if you made it harder to be spotted
PS - kivo and t'other dummy spitters - today is not a day for me to attempt major dialogue, it's the last day of my so called first break since getting involved in raising the titanic - will just say "Trust & Faith.....we shouldn't have to explain everything in great detail" and "when did we ever say it was gonna be easy".
Regards

We apparently are still after O'Toole who just had a knee injury. I guess this is why we have medical specialists who can judge the level of risk. Nobody can anticipate what happened to Bullard for example. Hulse seems to have comeback OK, although it took a couple of years.
Wendy's keep going on about France's Knee problems.
Is it me or do pretty much all Wendy players have injury problems at a higher % than most teams?
