I loved the bloke when he played for us and saw him in Berlin’s or maybe Europa once (down town somewhere anyway) . I went up to him to talk about the game and told him I thought as much and he was so under confident he thought I was taking the piss and got really irate to the point I thought he was going to start on me. I had to re-assure him that he was in my view the heart beat of the team and it wasn’t a joke. I ended up walking away in a state of confusion as to what had just happened. I still can’t work it out to this day.

I liked the fact that he'd obviously researched who was playing at the club around the same time because he wouldn't have remembered.
