You are Wilders PA aren’t you
Nope. I have been a Blade for 43 years and know what normally happens when we sack a decent manager.
It is worth taking a look at our managerial history, and reminding ourselves how changing a manager (especially a decent one) tends to work out. OK not all of these were sacked - but the replacements for our four most successful managers (Bassett, Porterfield, Warnock, Wilder first spell) were all worse.
'Good decision' means a promotion was achieved (even if we did not stay up). 75% of our changes have not been 'good decisions'. I do not include partial seasons where the new manager was unable to prevent relegation (Bassett, Wilder)
In my lifetime -

Basset for McKewan - good decision
Kendall for Bassett - no promotion or relegation
Spackman for Kendall - no promotion or relegation
Bruce for Spackman - no promotion or relegation
Heath for Bruce - no promotion or relegation
Warnock for Heath - good decision
Blackwell for Warnock - no promotion or relegation
Speed for Blackwell - no promotion or relegation
