I’m going to Middlesbrough tomorrow. If it’s anything like that shit show for 70 minutes last Saturday then that’s me done until Selles fucks off. Having said that with the new signings I’m quite looking forward to it ⚔️
have a good day and safe journeys there and back its about time this set of players rewarded our travelling fans with a good performance fancy us to get something tomorrow utb ftp ⚔️⚔️⚔️

Our prospects tomorrow take on a whole different dimension now we have reinforcements.

Let's hope they hit the ground running.

It was in the 70,s but remember one lad ( he was a mate originally from the silver blades) stood on top of a milk float peppering boro fans with milk bottles 🤣🤣
Remember launching bits of front gardens then when ammunition ran out it was melons and mangos from a corner shop. Was the coach from the Captive Queen?

No mate there was 18 in my mates doggy builders transit ( few Wybourn and arbourthorne we met up at cross keys in Handsworth) when finally arrived we looked like we'd just come out of a bombed building.
My mate reminded me earlier we think the lad on the milk float was called paul ( his nickname was cocky ) off the Wybourn

This coach stopped at Thirsk on the way up, stayed for a few beers, but we were then asked to leave town by the local constabulary. Stopped at Ripon on the way home.
The main protagonist was from a Newsagents/ video shop on eccy Road, batshit mental, looked a bit like a Hanson Brother off of Slap Shot, from the film made years later.
He insisted we made a stand against the advancing Boro hoards, which ended up looking a bit like a scene from Zulu.

Come on United, today’s the day. Get those players in the team now because they can only improve things irrespective of training time together. Some semblance of plan and shape would be nice too. ⚔️

I enter to days game with that same spirit of optimism I had for the last playoff final. We shall not and never be defeated!

I am currently watching a Thor film boxset I should say so I'm probs full of boys own bravado. Would a cape be overdoing it today do you think?

Boro away is usually a horror show but if we play 4:3:3 with a similar starting XI again it could get nasty. My Boro made posted some more stuff about West Ham after Hackney so hopefully he is benched again. They've signed a new Senegalese striker who hopefully won't be involved. They're loving Edwards though.

Snap your hand off for a draw.

Chesterfield used to kick off at 2.00 during the winter months so they could finish in daylight. I believe they were the last league club to install floodlights, in 1967.
Yes, they bought our old floodlights that were taken down during the 1961-62 season.

Foxy what website are these listings from please? Seems a bit off today as it's also on Viaplay here in the Nordics today, not sure if this was a last minute thing 🤷‍♂️

I really hope that Peck is sacked off to the bench and Soumaré starts instead. Hamer also needs a rocket up his arse when we lose the ball. Another half arsed lame effort of trotting back when we've lost the ball and he can fuck off elsewhere for me. This formation and tactics need two way midfielders and we
can't afford to carry a glory hunter seeking his next insta highlight reel of 10 seconds of class after 89 minutes and 50 seconds of fuck all.

Is this a win win in a way? Win great, lose Selles goes? I'm certainly a lot more relaxed because of this potential scenario today but of course I want us to win but if Selles isn't the man then winning may just delay the inevitable. It's still too early to know on Selles tenure in my view but is been that awful so far that it has certainly not inspired confidence in his ability to get the best out of the team.

Today's the day we turn it on and it clicks. 3-1 blades. Come on lads, big, big performance needed and due.

The last game of the Selles era looking at that midfield. Absolute insanity from him, sympathy has completely eroded as he is clearly incapable of seeing the bleeding obvious.
