Interesting article (once translated). Seems he’s trying to unilaterally cancel his contract to join us on the grounds of matchfixing by his current club

We have to think that the only keeper we own is Moore and we’re paying 50k a week and a loan fee for another player who whilst is by far our best option isn’t the best of business long term, we’re not just going to be able to keep taking him on loan and Wilder isn’t going to want to spend 50k of his budget every week on a player that isn’t ours.
Our best bet would be to get a keeper who’s young and showing potential and develop him through our excellent goalkeeping coach Darren Ward. That way we develop someone who can potentially be our long term number 1 whilst reaping the benefits of Deano.

What thorny and knobbly.....?
Christ keep it in your codpiece Fella

Is this him at Bramall Lane a short while back.

Some interesting news floating around about Mr Verrips.

Looks like he's ruffled some feathers at KV Mechelen after he terminated his contract due to match fixing allegations against the club. Dutch media claiming that any club that employ him could see him being suspended and a future transfer ban imposed against them, as his termination of contract isn't valid (in the club's eyes).

Potentially messy, or just a club making noise

Couple of short articles (in Dutch, if on Chrome, just hit the dots in the top right hand corner and press translate)

Seems a good shot-stopper on here - some really good saves. He seems to want to punch a bit too much for me but that's always the case with goalkeepers today, particularly foreign ones. He's only 22 so I would imagine even if we don't sign Hendo that this lad if he signs, will be a back-up and one to develop.

The passing part of that video is extremely promising. 😩 💦
