Yes the transformation in Doyle's performances have been great to see, but then I could say that about each and every one of the team since "that game".

Credit to must go to Clough and his staff too for this remarkable turn around. It feels great to be a Blade again :-)

Lets get one thing straight doyles interview was first class but thats what everyone should be like anyway playing for us,but my main point is doyle aint the reason why we are winning games hes just helping.
He hasnt suddenly turned into xavi like most of you on here are making outo_O

He'll never be Xavi or anything like that....he just sits, wins it and recycles it (very efficiently too). Nobody has alluded to any great skill factor. Doyle does the basics well and his positional sense befits a man of his experience. He is part of the team effort where different skills complementing each other and a real belief have been the turning factor in our season.

I think he's stepped his game up, he had to. Having said that so have many others.

Doyle's had more stick than most so it's only right that now he's performing to a higher standard that he's also given the praise.

You're right, Doyle is helping, just like everyone of the other players in the side.

Long may it continue

By the way - who's xavi? ;)

Great credit to Doyle (or LSF as he likes to be known) for his "comeback" after the dark period sat on his arse suspended.
Perhaps not the astonishing improvement as displayed by Flynn and Murphy, or the huge upturn at both full back positions but a worthy name on the teamsheet these last few weeks.

Don't make a habit of listening to RS a lot (although I did listen to FH in the aftermath of Charlton seeing of the Irrelevant) and wouldn't have heard any of that montage but for the link on here, but that was the type of coverage I would expect and a credit to RS as well for that .

Also, did anybody see him remonstrating with the steward after the match to let that fan go who ran on the pitch?
yes i saw that too.. i have been one of his biggest critics but after i saw that my respect for the guy went up 5000 percent
fascinating Colin still calls us 'we'

Doyle after the Fulham sending off I don't think my opinion of him could be any lower. But he's came back in put in some great performances and made me eat my words. Showed how much it meant to him in that Interview. Truly emotional.

Might have been the kick up the arse he needed that ban.

Maybe not but what he turned back into is a very competent midfielder at this level
Why because he is being managed and motivated by an excellent manager and his assistants

He and Macdonald never had any pressure on them and had a comfort zone ,with McGinn , Scougall ,Coady ,Baxter and Davies ,he knows he can be replaced. Clough no doubt told him this ,or maybe he just has better players round him now and hes not having to look after the full backs.
