Whether McBurnie would be better or not if he is on our radar the tactics won’t change.

Yep. McBurnie's best performances for us were when he had someone to link up with (Ndiaye, Mcatee). We already have Moore for that role but we play some really nice possession based football these days and remember Mcburnie was at his best playing for Swansea who are hardly kick and rush.
I totally agree a pacey string type would be great but maybe there's not as many of them around that are available and we can afford?
If we sign Mcburnie it's not certain he'd play alongside Moore but possibly instead of Moore. We're also been linked with various wingers which is where the pace will most likely be alongside Brooks and JRS.Moore + McBurnie= No pace. We lack proper pace all over the pitch The other night highlighted that.
McBurnie's Winter Appearances.
Nov to March
19/20 - 9 out of 19
20/21- 7 out of 22
21/22 - 3 out of 19
22/23 - 7 out of 19
23/24 - 4 out of 18
The guy has winter off every year and would be a terrible January signing.
Not for me.
He was always injured or suspended, and when he actually played his goal per game ratio was very poor.
I don't want him back.
Aye.For those saying we should get him back, removing your ex Bladey Bladeness for a minute
Would you want this striker to solve your lack of goals?

Least he’s cut out the cards
this would be like bringing Grbic back cos Coopers let a few in
I don't think he's the long term answer. But I honestly doubt we'll dig out a 25 goal a season striker who's a hard working physical specimen to boot in the JTW.For those saying we should get him back, removing your ex Bladey Bladeness for a minute

McBurnie blocked from Sheff Utd return but Blades may bring back another old-boy
OLI MCBURNIE has seen a reunion with Sheffield United BLOCKED by Las Palmas. The Scotland striker, 28, joined the LaLiga outfit in July on a three-year deal after he was released by the Blades. He …www.thesun.co.uk
Weird article. Talks unnecessary lots about off the field stuff and I can't see where it mentions other players as alluded in the headline.
Our current striker shouldn't be a benchmark? He'd be a major upgrade on Moore, but that really shouldn't be the benchmark on what we're looking for in a forward to bring in...
Moore is fine as an option, but we're a much better attacking threat with someone quicker and more willing to run in behind like Campbell. Our current striker shouldn't be a benchmark?
I presume it's your way of letting everyone know you don't rate Moore, just not done very logically.
Hearing other player is or Didsey Billy![]()

I'd have to say that's a slight exaggeration...!He’s a billion times better than Moore so in no way is it a step backwards. Moore needs binning off this January. See if Hull still wants him would be my first step
Strange article. Says the transfer has been blocked by Las Palmas. Doesn't say why, or if it's temporary or anything.![]()

Danny Hall, esteemed correspondent and all round great journalist has said it’s unlikely Las Palmas will let McBurnie leave. But that Cannon kid is potentially on the cards.
Well we could send them Brewster in exchange? Just saying.Yep Las Palmas won't let him go without getting another striker in first which seems unlikely.
Let's put this in the 'not going to happen ' bin and finally move on.
Not offended pal , but I can see your vocabulary is a little limited.Given some of his behaviour and antics over the time he spent employed by the club i don't think "brain dead lump' is too inaccurate and I could have used a lot worse language.
Do you spend your evenings looking out for things to feel offended by? Either way, I'm not at all bothered. Shove your 'faux offence' up your arse.
