Show me strikers creating their own chances
I dont need to. Watch MOTD any Saturday in the season and you'll see it. Show me Mcburnie beating a defender with skill or pace this season.

no .. watch wilders sky interview. he says it will take time. i believe Wilder . not you. no offence intended :)

Maybe Wilder knows it will take time cos he's a young daft lad prone to a a few pints in the week?

who is Duffy?? ;)

Only the greatest player we've ever had.

My Dad would rave about Hagan, I'd rave about Currie, but we both agreed, even before he had been born, he would be the one, although his Dad Phil did write an angry letter to Shoot stressing that late in his as yet unthought of child's football career, Wilder would bully him...... Shoots next issue was the biggest seller ever. FACT.

I'm not asking for Sharp to play.

No but you're claiming all the best strikers create their own chances. How many of Billy Sharp's goals has he beaten a defender for skill or pace?...or does he have the strikers instinct to be in the right place at the right time?

I can only think of two decent deliveries into McBurnie all season and he's buried them both, albeit one was where Egan was adjudged offside. McGoldrick is more likely to create a chance for himself with his link up play, but unfortunately he isn't our greatest finisher.

He doesn’t have the pace to outstrip defenders, nor do plenty of strikers.

He turned up at the Lane at 4pm, a bit miserable but signing and posing for selfies. He looked like he would be involved tonight.

Ever thought its possible, Chris could be wrong?

You have a selective memory

If so, wouldn't you rather it be wrong and err on the side of caution?

Drink driving limits are a big grey area because it's measured by alcohol in the bloodstream. No one truly knows how many you can have before driving, or how long it truly takes your body to burn off those units of alcohol, only a rough guess.

Regardless of that, can you honestly say you've never driven a car over the drink driving limit?

My point was that the information on the graphic you posted was wrong and that peddling wrong information doesn't help a cause. The statistics weren't just at one end of a "grey area", they were wrong. The people who need to hear the message will more readily ignore something they realise is factually wrong.

Watch MOTD (again). Question answered. Look, I wanted Mcburnie to be a massive success with 15-20 goals a season but it's not happening. Blame service all you like but his all round game, hold up, strength, link play have all been sub standard. This thread started about his drink driving. Poor performances atop this ridiculous behaviour leaves him open to criticism.

Give me some examples then, not ‘watch MOTD’

Anyone who drink drives, footballer or otherwise, is a cunt. Whether it's 'the morning after' or not, if you're over the limit your driving is impaired and it's one of the most selfish things you can do. You risk ruining lives because you couldn't be arsed to get a taxi. As someone who likes a drink it's really quite easy to avoid drink driving.

What about people who do it unknowingly? Still cunts? Who gets a taxi to take their kids to Sunday league the day after a skinful?

Where do we draw the cunts line?
