I really don't remember our fans ever attacking the players of other teams unless you can prove different ?.............................. thought not.

Interestingly, one of our players swapped shirts with one of yours immediately afterwards in what I presumed to be an attempt to camouflage them. Players all know this is an issue.

Would a pitch invasion happen if roles were reversed? 100%. Would a "blade" bum rush a forest player? Plausible, just needs the wrong cunt in the wrong place at the wrong time. The sooner the authorities set some tough sanctions the better.

Not a prayer he’s still got a few years left on his contract and came in on a decent wage for us reportedly.

No idea where you’re getting £1M but it’s not even close. It was announced as a £12m joint deal with Bogle and although it doubt it’s anywhere near up at that level asking for over £5m sounds entirely reasonable especially to a PL side. What did Matty Cash go for when we were asking?

Really great posts champagne and CM. Didn't think about you losing some of the experience as fans. I remember watching you (and David mcgoldrick iirc) ripping Man utd to shreds at times in a game at Bramall Lane at a point when you were really impressing in the prem and people thought you were going to Europe. Was that the season that got cut stopped and restarted? Must've been fun to duff up some established teams with real arrogant fans.


Another key but boring question, how did you all go on with playing fantasy football? I am contemplating on a personal rule of always having 3 forest players on the pitch. I won't do well but I can't having no stake in forest doing well.

Think Derby demanded an even split for him and Bogle in order to stiff Swindon out of sell on money which is a classy thing to do so we paid quite a bit for Lowe probably more than we would’ve paid if we’d just gone to buy him on his own.

I think Sky sports got those fee's wrong actually on that article.
My understanding was we bought them both for £10m. Perhaps it could rise to £15m with certain criteria.
Of that split I'd have expected 6-7m for Bogle meaning Lowe was signed for £4-5m.

Personally if we were happy with a £5m fee in Jan I'd let him go for that. Helps us out to be honest and Forest get their man.

I hope that if he does end up featuring next season he's able to settle down here. It seems clear he wants this move.

Why on earth should we be selling one of our most promising players to the scabs in the current climate. They are run by a crook, can't control their fans who injured our skipper, bent local cops prosecuting our players after their pitch invasion. And for him to join a decimated team likely to finish rock bottom. Screw them. Hopefully Cooper will get a better offer soon and leave them sinking back to where they belong.

New manager can’t ignore he had a decent season at Forest, so unless Forest pay the going rate he will be staying and fighting for first choice left back slot.
Enda hanst been close to his best for a while and I’m still not convinced RND has consistency so could easily find himself first choice if he gets his head on and knuckles down.

So up to Forest….bring in a player they know worked in their system, has prem experience, knows the manager and the club for £5m…or risk another player who doesn’t and save a million or two.
For me, in the scheme of things they could easily structure a deal to get him and really should if they have any sense.
Sadly for them, I suspect their own ignorance tinged with arrogance will see them get it wrong. Not that I care.

Time for him to knuckle down and show us what we paid for, else he can try again in 2024 when his contract expires. I doubt after 2 years of sulking he'll attract any Prem interest by then though.

I don't think he actually wants to be in Sheffield though does he? I got the impression he wasn't treated particularly well before his move to us...

From a forest point of view i'd wait it out with him and try and secure someone less injury prone as a first choice. I reckon we'll sign him for 2-3m late in the window as there doesn't seem to be a queue forming to sign him.
