Signing one man in his 30s, doesn't mean we aren't/won't be looking to bring in some good up and coming prospects as well though. You've got the likes of Burrows being talked about on here - more than 10 years younger than Ritchie, but I don't think that makes Ritchie a bad signing. Both would have roles to play.We need new owners willing to spend some cash if they realistically want a return on their money so signing 34 year olds who didn't play last season seems a weird one. Not entirely against it but it'd be nice to buy a few with some potential resale value alongside these types.
