Says it all really! Disappointed not to get a result at City!!!! Expected to get dicked here, but could have easily have got something from the game if only we took our chances and had competent rules and officials! We have come so far in such a short space of time its unreal!

We coulda should won that game. Moose's header at the first and Sharp at the end. No sign of VAR to stop it.
Sadly we had to play against 12 men + VAR and we had no chance. How the referee apparently passing to a Man City player is not a drop ball is beyond me. Also annoyed at the lack of replays. Roll on MOTD.

At the moment I hate the game as I've not calmed down.

However I am so proud of the team today the way they played and made Man City look ordinary.

We were fantastic today and certainly would have been good value for a point, but I expected that we would be, that's what you get with United, we almost always give a good account of ourselves.

Well folks, I think if we didn't already know it before tonight, we can be assured that any success we achieve this season will be soley down us, and us alone as we certainly won't be getting a helping hand from the officials/VAR, unlike a certain section of other PL clubs might have the courtesy of (no name dropping necessary). Fuck VAR and fuck all the rest, we are United and we are the best.
Great effort tonight, feel proud if not a little hard done too.

Exactly this. So, are we now to set a presidence that the ref could interfere with play if he dislikes a certain team and get away with it? Not at all suggesting that tonight's Manc ref did this but if he wanted to do so, he could?

Sheffield United picked up one of their best away results of the season since their memorable 1-2 victory at whatever Tottenham’s new stadium is called. United took the lead through a well taken Lys Mousset goal, a quick review from VAR showed him level with the last defender and, as it wasn’t clear and obvious, common sense prevailed. There was a worrying moment for the away side when John Fleck was blocked off by referee Christopher Kavanagh leading to a Sergio Aguero goal but thankfully VAR was utilised correctly and once again common sense prevailed, no goal. Manchester City did get their equaliser through a fine finish from Kevin De Bruyne. 1-1 it finished but it was the Blades who left the new Maine Road stadium the more frustrated, Lys Mousset having had two wonderful chances in the first half and Billy Sharp clipping the inside of the post at the death.
