Says it all about WILDER OUT NOW that nobody can be bothered to post the team sheet!
Reasons to sack wilder this team
1. The shite Tanganga captain - Titanic like.
2. Bindon played out of position than God forbid the left footed centre back he has discarded already
3. Two mediocre centre backs with wing backs - only conceded 5 last games so all is fine.
4. 3 left footed midfield payers but the bloke ignoring the left side but nominally paying there is a light weight slow no 10 who could not tackle a rice pudding.
5. Brooks potentially our MVP played disabled and wasted on the right WRONG wing.
6. Millions wasted on Cannon
7. Shirt/place wasted on Cannon
Use ONE you ****!

All assuming he has learnt nothing the past three seasons and there is no sign of that happening.
APART from simplifying corners but that is just copying fashion as this 'inverted wingers' oxymoron balls.

F off Wilder and COH if they cannot do better than this shite.

Will you be jumping in highlighting your pre-match comments this time?

What a pathetic individual.

So does that mean he’s a rolls Royce and we should sign him up on a big contract

Or is he still crap…no where near Championship level and we need to send him back asap?
What he is is a young player who clearly has a lot of ability but who needs time to learn and develop. Nothing more, nothing less. Being inconsistent is going to be a part of it for a while.

But there are cretins on here who think they are able to make a snap judgement on young players based on very little and only succeed in making themselves look stupid.

Who is our throw in coach? We lose out every time and get pressured again instead of playing a few passes to our own players. Fingers now bleeding and I've only got irish whisky!

That last half hour was shocking from us. Does he tell them to avoid the ball at half time? So passive, just letting them pass through us and get crosses in at will. Surprised Wilder couldn't hear me shouting at the damned telly. Such a stressful watch.
Pleased we got the result but surely we can control the ball better than the last two second halves!
Team composure under pressure needs sorting out or I'll be having a coronary!

Fraid we are lacking leaders- constant panic/hoof/opposing team coming wave after wave is indeed frustrating and a very hard watch, that said first 60 was superb tonight and Wilder deserves a great deal of credit. Best team WON.

Despite them not being too involved, I think returning to two strikers worked well tonight.

With Campbell and Cannon we had two forwards who are looking to get in behind defences and also make runs down the channels. It can be a big help that we can have some attacks where we leave it up to the strikers to make runs and chase balls and pull their defenders out of position. Not every time, but as a variation and as a way to stretch the opposition and give them more space to cover.

We seemed to treat the Wrexham game like a home game and it turned disastrous when we lost intensity at 3-1.

We seemed to be more in control (defensively) when we attacked tonight. We didn't look as vulnerable to breaks, which was a big problem at Wrexham. I'm glad Wilder saw the same and decided to make changes.

Bet you're happy again tonight
Very happy to be proven wrong and for us to pick up 3pts.

First half we were fantastic and 10 mins of second half.

After that once they adjusted tactically we were piss poor and in my opinion very lucky to escape with the points.

Yes it’s rare to control a whole game at any level but countless balls were fired in to our box unchallenged … we lost complete control of midfield and there were gaps all over the pitch …

The first half was as near to a perfect display as you will get barring goals…

A win is a win 🏆

3pts on the board and a big step away from relegation.

First half our intensity and speed of passing were. Joy to behold but our lack of cutting edge and tendency to overplay hurt us big time.

For once the players responded at half time and we came out roaring taking shots and being more direct in the final third.

We then go 2-0 up and they make a tactical adjustment which we didn’t respond to and lost total control of the game and the final 35 minutes was literally wave out of wave of stoke attacks with very poor game management from us.

On another day we lose that game ala Wrexham today we got lucky.

So praise for the first 55-60 mins but wilder needs to address what followed that (I’m sure he wi)

for 60 minutes in most games were as good as anything in this league last 30 we look a different team and relegation material.mystifying and has to be a fitness issue and just one other thing arblaster is nowhere near ready we need rothwell in next month

is it just me but i smell bit of BS on this,

https://www.efl.com/news/2025/decem...d-follow-the-efl-over-christmas-and-new-year/

because i believed that with this new EFL deal, every game that isnt a saturday 3pm kick off is now televised & yet i couldnt watch play stoke on monday 7.45pm KO. Because "These games are displaced Saturday matches, so reflect the usual number of TV selections for a Saturday fixture list" but the way the calendar falls, the EFL knew full well these fixtures would land on Monday. because they arent going to ask "can you play wrexham at 5.30pm on boxing day, & then stoke at 3pm the following day".

To then turn around and say “ah yes, but we’ll count them like Saturday picks” is short-changing fans Instead they’ve wrapped it in corporate fluff and hoped nobody noticed

Amazing isn’t it win a game while on the whole playing fairly well and the usual suspects who are all over the board when we lose disappear.

They haven't disappeared if you look at other threads. Apparently the only reason we held out for the win was because they had a man sent off..... In........wait for it............the 88th minute.......
The fact that we were just better than them for at least two thirds of the game had nothing to do with it.🤣🤣
