Management meeting with the prince

Right...
Despite several mellowing Jaipurs, I'm still of the opinion that whoever took and published this photo should be publicly flogged

Or shot at dawn...

'Completely out of order and unprofessional for a multi-million pound business

:mad::mad::mad:
It does seem strange that it would be published with plans that can be zoomed in on, but I suspect it is all just part of PR.

Unless I’m missing a huge point here, I don’t see how it negatively affects us. It’s just a club planning what to do next, much like fans and pundits do (or speculate on)

Whatever the reason for the gathering, if Wilder brings in one lower league 'unknown' for next to nothing, I'll be happy as this has served us well so far.

Presumably the thinking is that we'll look to bring in established players with valuations to match?

All very very dodgy. Looks like prince and CW are going to kick off.
We're doomed I tell ye, doomed.

What we do not see is what happens afterwards. As Wilder in anger reaches for the bottle of water then cracking the Prince over the head with it.

Really surprised that the 'spend more moneh' element of our support haven't jumped on this with incredulous disappointment that we haven't pencilled in £40m for each position.

Maybe, just maybe, as other wiser heads above have said, this is just a working document. Think of it as a 'Da Vinci Code' for Blades rather than a fixed set-in-stone contract for recruitment. As I type I know full well that a chunk of our BookyFace fanbase will see this as proven gospel. Sadly this will go on, and on, and on.......

Exactly. You have to ask yourself 'why were there no pics after this one?'
You've answered it fair and square 😦

It is okay we can raise some more money by selling our ground to ourselves.

Good plan, but first we have to buy it before we can sell it

Even so, it won't be worth what we pay. It's an inner city dump near dual carriageways, pubs and in walking distance of a railway station.

If only it were built on a flood plain by the Don, about 3 miles from the city centre. Surely then we could build hundreds of luxury apartments that the Mega-rich will be queuing up to buy. The Wilkinsons in Hillsborough Corner and the Home Bargains at Wadsley Bridge will soon be swamped by Wags of the rich and famous....

Whoever took this photo and then shared it publicly wants a serious bollocking
This should never have reached the public domain 🤬
Exactly my thoughts mate. If it’s been read correctly, certain players could now be aware that the manager either wants to move them on or that they’re not going to be first choice next season with over 6 months still left of this season to play.

That can’t be good at this early stage can it, even allowing for the fact that some may try to prove him wrong?

Interesting. No BS upfront if you zoom in on the board.
“Are there any other domains you think the club should develop?”

Even allowing for the translation of language it seems a strange way to phrase potential improvements to the squad. Especially over a picture of the stadium.

Everybody’s talking about what’s on the flip chart but I find what’s on the screen quite interesting as well.

Maybe they’d discussed the squad and were now moving onto ground development as part of the vision to make us a long term top PL club?

I doubt they're targets for solely next summer. More likely targets for the next couple of windows. We need to be looking at bringing in some of these in January. As we've seen with the summer's signings they're not just all going to suddenly slot in. If we can bring in a couple in January, it will be a big bonus.

Its all speculation, you can clearly see the initials of players on the flip chart but that’s it.

So there’s dots and numbers, nobody knows what the fuck they represent, but nevertheless some are prepared to believe Basham and Norwood are on their way out?

Strange thing to publish to be honest, but I fail to see how its giving anything away? Maybe it’s just to show that they’ve got their collective fingers on the pulse, are all pulling in the same direction and are not going to be caught out due to a lack of forward planning. Strength in Unity, Up the Blades!

Type of thing? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Notice Tufty doesn't have a laptop in front of him. It's all in his coconut, and probably a tatty old notepad - just like Shred used to have when sorting out away days :)

And what the fuck is the chef doing in there? Looks like he's taking the minutes - kin ell, that's some cash flow problem we must be having.
Shred never had a notepad it was the back of fag packet or beermat or any piece of random paper he could get his hands on.:)

Exactly, some people should be looking at themselves and thinking "I'd best learn how to hold my shit".

Recently, I think I’ve taken things like this too seriously. I’ve lambasted the bastards who have ‘revealed’ teamsheets, for example.

I now just think I should leave them to it. If there really was a mole within the club, revealing all this important information that we think is detrimental to us, do we think our excellent manager would not know about it?

I’m starting to think it’s all a part of the plan. A part of the game. Maybe even just a bit of fun!

I just can’t doubt anything the club are doing at the moment, as we just get so many things bang on.

Yeah the photo was a setup, what you dont see is after the photo they turn the board round with the real plan and the 20/21 A4 the other side, put away the choccies and get the pie n mash and chip butties out again from under the table.

Still seems a bit weird to me but each to their own.

AGREE with that,! the sheet of paper is there deliberately ●pointing in the direction of the camera so it can be read.
The reason for this is anybody's guess but it's not taken against the wishes of people there .

To be honest this doesn’t bother me as much as the leaking of the team-sheets. Partly because I’d be amazed if anyone is surprised by anything in the photo / on the whiteboard. But also because the whiteboard that’s visible is pretty much identical in nature to the one that was included in the Bleacher Report article (https://bleacherreport.com/articles...ed-boss-chris-wilder-on-transfer-deadline-day) on our deadline day a couple of years ago, which clearly Wilder felt comfortable with releasing.
Admittedly that was slightly different as it came right after a transfer window rather than before it, but ultimately it’s not really showing anything shocking or confidential.

Bloody luv this.... in this day and age what manager gets this much control of the clubs budget and say What he wants...the owners absolutely realise we would not be in this position without the manager and Knill, Wilder has made the owners VERY wealthy, and as long as we’re all in this together and they invest in whatwhat wilder wants then its alll gravy........if they dont then it’s down hill history tells us this....we are n the verge of greatness.....DO NOT underestimate this...the new owners know this, Wilder goes and we’re fucked SIMPLE AS THAT.........PRINCE READ IT AND WEEP!!
