Before we get ahead of ourselves in blaming Manchester, there have been several occurrences where the (big) home team has asked to reduce FA Cup prices to about £15 and the (small) away side has said bollocks to that as it would massively reduce the big payday they were expecting.

You need to take a minute to consider the Prince in all this

.... it looks like all the Harem wants to go to OT .........

As I said in the other thread I won't pay more than £30 for a football ticket unless it's for a big final. It's a matter of principle for me.

They can keep their allocation, I'm not interested. Let all the mugs buy one and watch us get tanked for the money.

What a rip off.
Can anyone explain the logic of a sliding scale of prices upwards from Season ticket holders, members and general sales?

It has to be us who have stipulated this sliding scale surely? If so, it would be really interesting to see what MUFC are charging as a basic price because we are either reducing or increasing them for different groups which surely can't be right (OK, I know there is an argument to offer a reduction to season ticket holders as a thank you). Actually, if we're increasing them isn't that a bit like touting?

Yeah, no thanks, I'd rather sit at home and watch a dodgy stream o
Im going, session in Manc, a chance to see the Blades beat Man U in their own backyard, few ales in Manc then back to Sheff for more drinks, whats not to love?

...the ticket prices... ?

Club confirmed, about 20,000 times on twitter that we asked to lower the prices but Man U rejected.

They want us to pay roughly the same amount as we did to see the semi final at Wembley, and more than likely they will play their development team ................................. er no thankyou

It would be great if the prince subsidised the ticket prices, as a gesture of goodwill. It's pin money to someone of his means.

The prices are too high - but I'd rather being paying higher prices (maybe not this high) to watch a decent Blades team in the premier league than paying £20 to watch shite in L1.

But to watch as bad a blades team as most of us has seen get spanked at Man U in the 3rd round of the cup? Don't think I'm going to go. I support the twenty's plenty campaign so feels hypocritical paying those prices.

  1. Yes, banners of a prescribed size are allowed in both home and away sections. In home sections there are also large ' fire certified' over-sized banners along the whole second tier front-facing levels. These banners are fan designed and produced, fire certified banners, agreed in location and content by the fan groups in conjunction with the club.
  2. The maximum permissible size for a flag or banner not requiring a fire safety certificate is 2m x 1m and these flags/ banners must be worded in an appropriate and non-offensive nature. Poles and sticks are not allowed to be brought into the stadium, as highlighted in both the Ground Regulations and Prohibited Items signs, displayed outside each turnstile block.
  3. If the flag or banner is within the 2m x 1m maximum permitted size then the banner can be brought along to the stadium. Security stewards outside the turnstiles will check the dimensions and appropriate wording on any such flag/ banner for compliance with the regulations.
  4. There is a limited opportunity in the away section to display oversized banners but any such requests must be directed to the club at least one week prior to a fixture, so that appropriate assessment and evaluation processes can be completed. Any such requests must be accompanied by a photograph of the flag or banner plus the requisite fire certification.
  5. All flags/ banners must be worded in an appropriate and non-offensive manner and not contain any offensive marks, pictures or symbols. The club does not allow any national flags of a nation not competing in the specific match.

15 bedsheets should do it if we can find 31 people willing to hold them up - one each should get us through the stewards.
