Quick summary of the day while I'm waiting for the pictures to upload.
Set off from mine at about 10am. Heading towards Fox House when, just shy of the start of the Peak District, Foxy's car decided that it wasn't just over-revving, it was also going to stop accelerating. So after crawling the 5 miles home at 10mph, we picked up another car and an hour later we were back Fox House!
After a horrible foggy journey, we found the ground and that big bloody rusty spiky thing at about half 12 and decided we hadn't got time to find a decent pub so we had a wander around the ground taking some picture etc. Ground is a lot more impressive than the Emirates from the outside and a lot more interesting.
Went inside with our fancy swipey tickets and headed straight to the bar when a two pinter can be bought for £5.50 to save you going back to the bar twice

Watched Wigan v. Man Utd for a bit and then went to seats.
Where Tommy had convinced Alan Quinn to give him his crappy Man City shirt that they were all warming up in. Stewards were a bit close so we haven't got many match pictures.
Early sense that City were there for the taking but United weren't decisive enough in the final third. Best chance of the half was Hulse's overhead kick on to the bar (the build-up of which I didn't see, had to go for a piss after drinking said Two Pinter).
Second half was more of the same with Paddy only half tested by their shots... many of which went well wide. Quinn was working hard but Gillespie was cutting inside a little too much to be effective. A few misplaced passes from United's midfield were often more to blame for our attacks breaking up than any good defending from Man City.
Final whistle went to a chorus of boos from the home supporters with an overall positive performance from the Blades away from home. With Man City's home record and our away, could we really have expected any other result?
