Seems like some might be upset that Bassette won't be starting the game 😁

Rudoni and Sheaf both back in training after injury. If both named in the squad Bassette won't even get on as a sub.

You were Totally outplayed in every department no matter who your manager picked

No disrespect meant but we don't have a lot to worry about. Draw maximum expectation from this game. We're only after a playoff place. We should be good enough to finish 5th whatever happens in our next 2 games.

Can't see Leeds not making top 2 with their remaining games. They deserve another season in the Championship if they don't. So our next 2 games are against the sides that I think 1 will be favourites for the playoffs and the other goes up with Leeds. Will be a chance to test for weaknesses.

The result is very important for yourselves though.

You could be out of play off PLACINGS later today after being hammered by dem BLADES

Well those Coventry fans sent packing with their tails between their legs. Bye bye. I thought they were supposed to be good 😂

Leicester really pulled our pants down with Cannon, didn't they?
We pulled our own pants down.
But hey-ho.
Everyone makes mistakes.
And you can't really do anything but admire a man who's put together a squad from nothing and has it playing so well and top of the league.

I went into this game with some trepidation, thinking a draw would be good. Have to say expected more from Coventry, but at times showed their potential. Think this was the best I have seen the blades play this season but still felt they needed to work on their passing and finishing. In the premiership those shots will be converted.

As a Sunderland fan I watched the game last night and thought that Sheffield United were miles better than coventry. That's 7 goals they have shipped to your lads and Leeds - with burnley to play next week. Not a good showing.

I fully expect SU to be promoted, top 2, and of course the next question will be - can you stay there. That's the question for all the promoted teams as the gap between the divisions grows and grows.

Just looking at the team and Obs disappointing Vini isn't in it, but the one thing is we have a bench that can really make a difference now, which we ain't had for years. Just wish we'd tried for Josh Sargent as opposed to Cannon but hey ho!
Aswell as NOT opposed to, the boy is having no luck keep the faith we don't need another scapegoat to boo, the goals will come.

Best performance of the season I think today, we made good opponents look average. One thing that pleases me is that we aren't missing Souza as much as I thought we would. Choudhury deserves a lot of credit and I was initially critical of him!

Hoping last night was a sign of things to come, really good performance and at no point seemed to settle for the goals we had.

Confidence is a funny old thing too, great finish by Brewster.

We were class yesterday. Defensively solid, a functional midfield and attack that looked hungry.

A few years ago most SU fans were quite willing to be a yo yo club,
And I don't think many will be that upset if we go up and come back down again this time.
You can either spend, spend, spend on players when you get promoted (cheating) and eventually get relegated anyway (watch Forest)
Or you can build the infrastructure of the club for generations in the future.

A lot of our games this season have been played with five academy players in the team, and this is where a lot of the Premier League money has been invested.

Other Championship clubs criticise United, always after they are beaten and blame the parachute payments whilst completely ignoring the fact that five of the team that just beat them came from the academy.

Clubs arriving in the Prem from the Championship are at a massive disadvantage, so having four or five goes at it and improving slowly each time is the way to go.
Hope you lot go up too, unless of course it's us that slip into the playoffs
