Nah, maybe I'm just watching with a calm head, not with some weird agenda like a lot of the miserable cunts on this thread.

Just to be clear, he's not been great by any stretch of the imagination and O'Hare would be a much better fit playing against this packed defence.

I just don't understand why so many "fans" have to dig him out when he's not even been that bad.
U mean Brewdog? He has a strong shot but for an 'International' his passing is tosh.

Don't want to drag this thread into another Brewster debate (we get 5 per game of those as it is), but I find it hard to see why him being an international is such a big deal.

He's only reached U21 level, which is not that hard for the average English pro. The lad Beadle at Wednesday has started games for the U21s this season and he's proper arse.

Basically he actually does fuck all else. That's it.
And yet he doesn’t even do it. Maybe on the odd occasion he does when his football intelligence tells him to not try and not force a forward pass that isn’t on and just to retain possession instead.

But I have been watching for him doing it since the post said that’s what he does all the time and yet he hasn’t done it once. Strange.

But he is a professional footballer on a darn good whack. I would expect him to be able to pass.

Francis Jeffers was once the all time top scorer for England Under 21s and yet he only scored 40 goals in 235 matches over a 16 year career. Michael Tonge once played for England Under 21s.

As you said, getting capped at that level doesn't necessarily mean anything. Ian Ross and Jonathan Forte both got capped at England Under 19 levels. Let's look back at how their careers panned out. (Okay, a tad harsh on Ross as the death of his father had a massive impact on him).

Was hopeful today would be a reset, round pegs in round holes and a focus on improving our creativity as it’s a lack of goals that’s cost us.
Looks like Wilder thinks more of the same is the way to go though, turgid stuff with goals coming from 2 lucky deflections only papering over the cracks.

The creativity, flair, pace etc of both Coventry City and Bristol City over 2 legs is a daunting thought

I think we would beat Coventry over 2 legs. They are the only side I have any confidence in beating mind you.
