Slow start in which we allowed them too much freedom without them really troubling us. After that it was pretty much controlled throughout the rest of the game, aside for 10 mins at the start of the 2nd which was understandable.

Of course you want to be 3 up before ball is kicked but it’s still a difficult position and we got it spot on for the most part.

It felt like we were almost cheating when we brought ohare and Campbell off the bench after kieffer had dominated their defence for 60 odd minutes.

Atmosphere at times was electric and it was a special night.

Great win. What a great time it was to hit top form. I am not bothered who we play in the Championship playoff final. If we play at that level, I am confident we will win.
Great performances from all our players. Vini was outstanding, and Cooper was brilliant. You can see the players want promotion to the Premier League. We can make history by winning at Wembley for the first time in 100 years. Bring it on, UP THE BLADES.

I feel sorry for anyone who wasn’t there to be a part of that.

And so do I , and I was one of them but thanks to the wonder that is television was able to watch it almost as if I was .

Having witnessed it on numerous occasions in my many years of watching the Blades , I know there is no substitute for being there on nights like tonight .

On these occasions , I take comfort from the fact that I was fortunate enough to watch many or most of our outstanding performances in such situations .

Great last 15/20 minutes to make up for the shabby opening part, started to step into them,cut out the errors and put some good crosses in,they immediately folded and we took over and scored with a classic header.
Earlier they were getting far too much room to do what they do best and we just didn't get our tackles in,losing 50/50 tackles and giving them too much space around the box,as if we hadn't worked them out after 3 first halves where they did mostly the same every half,played around and through us but they would be dangerous if they had a half decent pair of strikers.

It's almost as if Wilder knows what he's doing.

Very unusual for John Street to contribute to the atmosphere. Must be the way the tickets were sold. Lots of non ST holders round us. It was great.
