Still confused if we put Mousset down as a good Wilder signing or a bad one. I guess we'd have to call that good spell nothing more than an out of character purple patch. Still at least he had his purple patch whilst with us, rather than than just before we signed him.

To think some of the Wilder slander on here when he somehow got this guy to be one of the best strikers in the premier league for a month

...when we put a chef in his house and employed a personal trainer for him. Lockdown ruined him (and Wilder).

Used to feel sorry for him but that changed when I saw him drive his Lambo at hyper speed past my lad's school at 8.45am with kids trying to cross.

Just screamed monumental bellend.

He's wasted his own career.

What a fucking waste. I mean waist.

Srsly tho, talent and core physical attributes and this is where he finds himself.
Mutually terminated his contract...

... making him a free agent...

... who's almost certainly been on wages of less than £7k a week at Bohemians...

... tell me I'm not the only one joining the dots on this one?!

Was Wilder really slandered when it came to Lys Mouset in when he first joined? He got slandered when it came to managing his fitness, attitude and injuries, but not that first season.

He was our transfer record signing at the time, so I'd say a poor to terrible signing.

But then again, weren't all out transfer record signings? Robinson, Freeman, Mousset, McBurnie, Brewster ?

There's something like £60 million of players there.

I don't think you can always judge a gamble based on results.

Mousset was more than capable of Premier League football had he been in the right frame of mind whereas Freeman neither looked good enough nor did he fit the system Wilder then went with. That's much less forgiveable than a gamble on what could've been a top class player.

He signed on this day in 2019

“Thank him for his efforts” but bin him off after 6 months. Unless that message was from one of the local takeaways…

No doubt there was a player in there. There was also too much fast food in there too
