Along with all the other comments in a similar vein, it got me thinking about another French player - Thierry Henry.

Henry's Pre-Arsenal record - 5 years , 8616 Minutes played or 95 full games, in 159 appearances, 31 goals, so a goal every 3.06 games.

Mousset Pre-United record - 6 years , 3877 Minutes played or 43 full games, in 106 appearances, 19 goals, so a goal every 2.26 games.

They say, you can prove anything with stats. Sure, but it goes to show, past performances isn't necessarily a good indicator for future potential.

Make him feel at home

Version 1
Tu remplis mes sens
Comme un gallon d'aimant
Comme un paquet de Woodbine
Comme une bonne pincée de tabac à priser
Comme une soirée à Sheffield
Comme un morceau de beurre gras
Mon Sheffield United viens me combler à nouveau

Version 2
You fill up my senses
Like a Magnum of Champaign
Like a packet of St Moritz
Like dried and ground garlic
Like a night out in Paris
Like a baguette and French fries
My Champs de Elyse come fill me again

Needs work

Lad's had 76 replies and 4 retweets. Believe that's what known on Twitter as getting ratio'd.

Works for Joe.co.uk enough said.

Then justifies his statement with this:

The full weight tosser but I assume he wanted that reaction like most wannabe journos on Twitter.

I saw a bloke who said to me
He thinks he's seen the new Henry
So I said, who is he?

It’s just click bait. I’m in my fifties and I understand how this works. You post something controversial so you get loads of hits. More hits, more pay.

True, although in this case he isn't linking to an article on the pile of crap that is Joe.

You would think the melt that is the head of football at Joe would know that. You want the traffic not just the angry replies on Twitter.

I'm off to Tramlines in a bit so hopefully I can get a signal to post

No time off for you mate. I am sure one of us on here will take your ticket.

Not me though because I won't step foot in Hillsborough.

Would've preferred Marriott over Maupay to be honest and yeah, I'm still hoping for a deal to get McBurnie too (although I just don't see us getting him unfortunately).

Well Tufty said publicly only last evening that he expects to break our transfer record twice more. If the second is not OMB I’m struggling to think who else it is.

Mousset (as far as im aware) is not a club record so maybe OMB and another Frech Striker....
