Awful news. I’ve nothing more to add that hasn’t been said already. Deepest sympathy to his friends and family.

Isn't this the same disease that Stephen Darby got diagnosed with a few weeks ago

Awful. All strength to his family. My father in law died of ALS 30 years ago and my wife nursed him to the end. The experience still haunts her.
Anything we can do?

The great Jimmy Johnstone who played briefly for us died of it at the age of 61, it is a vile disease and a terrible way to go.
Fucking awful disease. If it's true about the paint on lines etc, something must be done to remedy it.

Poor bloke. Horrible disease. Colleague at BAE Systems had it and it was tragic watching him deteriorate. Bloke started his career on the logistics team at McLaren on F1. At the end he was rendered competely incapable but wouldn't give in to it.

Best wishes Luton.

Can we organise a collection for him at the next home game? If every fan chucked a quid in that would be over £20k.

Ah shit, I had no idea. Poor guy. I remember he put in one great performance away at Old Trafford. Thought we had a real talent on our hands. Very sad news.
Stone Wall penalty of the most stone walls you'll ever see turned down. Could/would have given us a point that could/would have kept us up.

I don't really remember that incident, but I do remember him running Wes Brown (I think) ragged. Seem to remember we fielded a slightly weakened team that night and thought we were in for a hiding. Were we in that awful black & white kit?

Gabriel Heinze (unless someone wants to correct me???) absolutely pole-axed him. No-one near. Ball had gone about 50 yards. All the man. None of the ball. Disgusting decision.

Rob Styles. What a great season he had against us from the Gerrard intent no contact penalty in the first game to the Heinze assault. Three points lost in those two games alone without getting onto Mike Blind Riley against West Ham away.

I forgot about the Kozluk one at West Ham. Terrible decision and one that VAR couldn't have argued with. Kozluk fouled his own player ffs!
