He did say the ref was poor for both sides.

I did honestly think he said Everton at first, but I sussed it after thinking it through.

Kept saying "while I'm at the club" which to me implies that he's not planning on staying.

Never said anything like "I'm hopeful that we can sort something out" like you usually hear if there's a chance of a compromise.

If players run their contract down completely they're more likely to get a signing on fee and a better wage offer as there's no fee to the club.

I could be way out on all of this but just my opinion.

He's the only midfielder with an engine that can run for 90 minutes. On his day he's a good player but he's inconsistent IMO. He's become an easy target and came in for some ridiculous stick when we were performing poorly as a team simply because of his contractual position. If and when he moves on he'll go with my thanks and best wishes for being part of one of the best United teams to watch I've seen in the last 45 years or so.

We’ll see how easily replaceable he is but I think his contributions are under appreciated by many posters on here.

He’s not a world beater by any means but he’ll be hard to replace with someone who will just slot into our system.

Even though he’s had a poor season so far he’s been our most effective midfielder up until the last 2 games when Fleck has pulled his head back out of his arse.

Yeah I agree. Although it does seem like he’s off to Rangers, so I guess he can cope at that level.

Definitely reckon he thinks he’s better than he is. We’re only picking him because we’re desperate really.

If we’d have sold him last month we’d be in the shit now with no one to fill the gap.

I don’t think we should offer him loads of money to stay but at the same time I’d be disappointed to find out that he’s not been offered parity with the likes of Fleck, Basham, Baldock, Egan, JOC and Stevens because he contributed as much last season as they did towards a top 10 finish.

both hes not a premier league player for a start and despise his attitude towards the club and a manager that gave him his break playing at a higher level showed no class at all and if we had recruited better before this season started in the midfield area i doubt he would have played a game the sooner hes out of our club the better imo
