And anyone using the phrase 'Stevie G' sounds suspiciously like a scouser. Therefore I can only assume that along with your previous post thanking the lazy twat for all his 'efforts' that you are related to him. Unlucky. Still, you can now crack on with setting up your new profile on a Rangers fans forum to follow your hero. He won't be missed at the Lane that's for sure.

Too late mate I've already renewed my season ticket and will do for the next ten like the previous ten

Don't take the bait just cause your brain doesn't let you comprehend other people having different opinions to the herd

JL7 was unfairly scapegoated its as simple as that

Where abouts then Mr Lundstram? Season ticket for Everton or for Rangers to see your boy? Give the lazy twat a wave when you next see him, for us.

Man City, Man Utd and Liverpool fans all appreciate hard work and effort too.

Hard work and effort is one of the top players best attributes, it just gets overshadowed and hidden better by the best players more technical attributes.

But nobody makes it to the top whether with Man City, Real Madrid, Bayern or Barcelona without working hard.

Running around full pelt like Monty or Lundstram at his best doesn't mean your working harder than Ronaldo or Messi
Apples and Oranges, the majority of superstar players work hard, not necessarily on the pitch during a game, they do it in training, they show it through their fitness, training regimes, and a constant work ethic, which allows them and gives them a platform to show their skills and win games, they are blessed with a skill but have drive/ambition to not only make the most of it, but push themselves to new heights

During the promotion run and in that glorious first season in the Premier League he put in a shift and did well for us. He was poor last season though all season with no effort and little to sow for his salary. Good luck to him in Glasgow, playing for a manager who knew how to put heart and soul in all the time in midfield he is going to have to work his guts out.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt until the Leeds game on the 5th April 2021. I couldn't believe his lack of effort trying to get back as Leeds broke away. Ampadu who had started way behind him raced past him as recorded in this report:-

What happened next proved the final straw for many Sheffield United fans.
With Leeds breaking at their customary pace, and John Fleck losing his footing, they had a three-on-two situation. Lundstram was the nearest Blades player to the ball and Raphinha; Ben Osborn and Rhian Brewster were racing back to cover.
Ethan Ampadu, the United defender, was in the Leeds area when the free-kick came in and by the time Raphinha raced clear, was at least 15 yards further up the pitch than Lundstram. Within three seconds, he had caught his teammate up and a few moments later was in a position to almost cut out the Brazilian’s cross, which Stuart Dallas put narrowly wide.

Congratulations JL7 no wonder he downed tools for the last couple of months of the season when he had brain dead morons slagging him off

Lunny will smash it up and dare I say follow in Stevie G's footsteps into becoming an all round goal scoring midfielder

Good luck lunny and thanks for the memories , mine isn't as short as plenty of others on this ththread
I know you're wanting a bite but he performed well in 3-6 months in 4 years.

I bet he's gutted to have to play in the Champions League 🙄

I've just read his comments after signing for Rangers and he's waxing lyrical about how Liverpool and Glasgow are two 'proper' footballing cities with 'proper supporters'. Not a mention about the city where the club who's been paying his wages for the last 4 years, is based. Clearly Sheffield isnt a 'proper' footballing city then. He really is a dislikable little twit.

Don't blame him after some of the grief he has received from a large majority of our fans

Two way street between fans and players why should he grovel to the fans who have slagged him off for the past 12 months

Making it too obvious 😉

Im genuinely not trolling

Yes he downed his tools for the last few months no more than what the rest of the squad did at the start of the season

If he was under contract no one would have said anything

But he was under contract and still getting paid by the club for putting just short of fuck all effort in. He's taken the piss out of the club for the last 12 months and if your daft enough to think otherwise then more fool you.

Do you think the fans as a collective, all woke up one fine sunny morning back in August last year and thought 'you know what let's have a right pop at Lunny for a laugh'. The fact that everyone and their Grandad (with the exception of his relatives like yourself) have all slated him this season for lack of effort should just tell you something.

If your not a relative of this charlatan then you are simply trolling and trying to get a reaction. That or youve snorted/injected more gear than Colombia can produce in a year if you think Lunny hasn't been a total fraud for 12 months.

And the contract point is a red herring. Most wanted him not to sign it...why... cos he's be consistently poor or very average at best. The only consolation was he was in his last 12 months and boy didn't we all know it with his pathetic attempt to show any sort of effort.

Anyways he's Rangers problem now and he can leech of them.

I saw it before anyone else did, a true visionary.

Shame he didn't break his leg in one of those games where he put in a half arsed effort when we needed him most last season, he might have failed this medical.

Think once wilder signed Berge, personally showed him around Sheffield on his first day, really pissed of 'Lord Lundstrum' and id say he had a bout 5 decent games since Berge signed , his attitude was piss poor, and i am delighted don't have to see him representing this club again.. terrible attitude and i dont care how much he was on, or how much we offered , while he was still employed he should at minimum 'put a shift in'' . prick was taking the piss in the end... good riddance

If they get the player who defends, runs, gets in the box and doesn't think he's Pirlo he'll do well. But we only saw that for about 15 games in 4 seasons.

If they get the player who got less than 400 minutes in our promotion season and sauntered around thinking he was a "technical" player for his last 15 months with us then he'll be on loan at Preston by January

Keep seeing Rangers fans say this. He wasn't even offered the sort of money Billy Sharp was on which is why he refused it. Imagine making Lundstram our highest paid player when we had just spent £22m to replace him.

It's strange with Lundstram. He was non descript for the most part of his time here and should by
rights attract no more than a Partridge shrug now he's left. He is definitely someone we should have been looking to improve on even in The Championship as he showed he wasn't up to it in his first two seasons. He's done incredibly well to get a move to Rangers, despite what people think of the league, given how he couldn't hold down a first team place here in his 4 seasons.

What a kick in the nuts.

Sat waiting for the established Premier clubs to come in for him and ends up in the farmer's league.

Maybe downing tools against the clubs you wanted to move to wasn't the best plan.

Anyway, best of luck John - enjoy Ross County...
