Cawley was responding 40mins later to Donnelley’s claim he was off to Millwall so it’s probs he staying put

Is wallace better than freeman not seen him play

Wouldn’t let him go until we gave at least a couple of attacking players in.

he’s the one nominal attacking mid atm.

Since we have a few other players that can ‘look busy but don’t actually get anywhere’ I’d be fine to let him go for whatever we can get for him.

Nothing against Freeman but he’s never done enough in the games he’s played for us.

Reminds me of Barry Bannan. Looks a world beater (relatively) against shit opposition, but put him against a half decent midfield and I just don’t think he’s that good

Don’t think he will be here come the end

Luton after him according to twitter, another waste of wages off the bill if so.

Burke, Verrips, Olsen, Mousset and now Freeman, we've never had so much deadwood in the squad.

Let’s hope he goes as his the prime example of another who just came for the money.

Don’t really think that’s really fair. He signed for the chance to live his dream and play in the PL.

don’t think you can blame him for that, wilder chose to buy him with no plan to give him significant minutes. And unfair as it may be the side was getting result at that time.

His commitment to maintaining his fitness was the reason he was not used very much at forest and he has not broken 8nto the team under any of our managers.
wilder bought some total wasters on too high salaries where the work ethos was not essential. Players were brought in on similar if not higher salaries than the existing group, they tossed it off which Then effected the overall team spirit

He’s never really had a chance in the side has he? So unless anyone is aware of that being due to his effort or attitude, I’m mindful to not put any blame at his door.

That said I saw a picture of him last week at the Rainbow Blades event and he looked pretty ‘heavy’, so that could well be a reason why.

Three managers, four including the guy at forest could not be wrong

He was injured for a long period at forest and needed an operation I believe.

You don’t know that though do you ? It’s very easy to say that when a player isn’t playing

I’m sure the same could be said about Bogle/Brewster until we bothered playing them

He was indeed but both pre and post op he hardly played and was widely criticised when he did. Three utd managers have not played him.
not fit, over weight, wrong attitude. Further example of how wilder wasted money

He has hardly played for four managers and when he has he has been blowing out of his ass after any exertion. Bogle and Brewster actually ran and broke sweat when they got in the team. But everyone is entitled to their opinion, mine is in keeping with the four managers who could have played him

Would love to see the back of Freeman.

His step overs and ability to look busy without ever doing anything has grated on me when he’s played.
We've had Busby Babes and Fergie's Fledgelings. How about Wilder's Wasters?

Freeman another bought with a limited plan. Yes, we played a flat 3 and it worked. But that's not to say when Lundstram decided he was too good for us that he shouldn't have remained and played the role he was intended rather than be inexplicably sent to Forest, making us short in midfield.
