In the 15th minute he tried to catch a simple ball on his line and almost fumbled it in. Would have been a disaster goal.

On 30 minutes their player was clean through with just Long to beat. Long came out quickly and spread himself down at his feet. Let's be fair ...it was an excellent save.

The 44th minute they shoot from edge of the area, it's partially blocked taking off all the pace so Long ends up with an easy save but he spills it and they're player scores from the rebound.

Obviously the parial block must have put heavy spin on the ball and George underestimated the difficulty of the save. An real gift of a chance for their striker to put it into an empty net.

It's not even as if it's a key position on the pitch. With a decent defence and stalwart midfield we don't need a strong keeper. Indeed we could even play without one against most of these poor first division sides.

Unfortunately the fans have him sussed. As much as they want / wanted him to do well they know a good keeper when they see one. And they have known for a while that George isnt a good keeper. To me its more a case of us wanting him to be the business rather than what he has actually contributed. Hes probably a good lad and he isnt a piss poor keeper. But he currently isnt good enough and drops too many mistakes. Has to be replaced. Simple as.if CW doesnt see that now, or the club fail to bring in a suitable replacement then one of them are failing in their obligations to the fans. Change him now.
