Great result on Saturday and what we want is more of the same. Let's take things a game at a time though and enjoy the journey not get too focused on the end target.
February always looked a tough month and we've made a great start but it could go south very easily so let's not get like our porcine Neighbours.
That said, I don't think it's too early to suggest Chris Wilder is pushing a lot of the right buttons and setting the club up well for the future.
Granted he's had to sell of some family silver in DCL and Ramsdale to keep us on an even keel but promotion is everything and neither were key pieces in this season's first team jigsaw.
There's a lot to like about the way Chris has laid the foundations with a nucleus that can grow together.
Should we be successful he's already got a decent midfield platform to build around in Fleck, Coutts, Carruthers and Duffy plus Whiteman is making all the right noises at Mansfield.
He'll need better squad options than McNulty, Done and Clarke but you can see Sharp, Hanson and Lavery all bringing something to the table. Just a question of how far the Budget can stretch to complement them.
Point being with these complemented by Freeman, O'Connell, Moore and Lafferty, all of an age to improve, whatever division we are in there should be less need to start all over again.
For once it feels like we have a plan.
Let's not count those chickens but the turnaround has been quite remarkable.
