The attacking football, the happy go lucky attitude, the actual excitement?

For the first time in years I looked forward to watching us for entertainment as much as anything else. I hadn't felt that since Ndiaye left.
Felt like Wilder had let go of the handbrake and thought fuck it, let's go for it. Attack is the best form of defence.

That idea was short lived, clearly, but what a great period of time to watch us. Runs of 3's and 4's, throwing caution to the wind and attacking at pace!

Has it been coached out of them in order to be more solid instead?
Have the players lost confidence randomly?
Is it instruction?

That the other day was utterly pathetic. And we had enough attacking 'talent' on the pitch to take the game away from them, certainly with how we were playing. I simply cannot believe that the players alone decided to start wasting time in the first half away at Norwich.

If the entertainment is at a level of 0 for the rest of the season, it's going to be a long long month and half. And Chris will be at a thanks but no thanks with me.

Martin Skubala awaits...

Its as if Wilder gets a sniff of the playoffs and runs scared and goes back to tippy tappy slow football...i agree very frustrating

But the performances that created the chances to score those goals have dried up. Looks turgid and uninspiring.

Think crowds will drop off now, nothing to play for. First time in many years I can remember we had nothing to play for with 11 games to go, a Quarter of the season!!! Let that sink in.

Apart from relegation when most left after an hour

The run of scoring 3+ a game wasnt the norm. It's not like goals have totally dried up
We've scored more than 1 goal twice in 7 games. One of those was against the worst championship team of all time, at home, when again we took the foot off the gas well before half time when we could've and should've been aiming to break records.

2016 - 20 was Wilders high point. It was bloody glorious, mad fun and the lads were fitter than any Blades team I've seen. Watching Bash and co going at sides for 90+ was a joy. Imagine what that team would have done to WBA or Norwich. It would have been game over at HT in both.

Then, whatever happened to Chris or between him and the owners led to to his leaving. Since then he hasn't been the same. The team isn't anywhere near fit enough, they are lightweight, have no resilience, no ability to fight back and can't manage out games.

I don't know what went off but what we have now on the field is sub optimal, boring and utterly predictable, as are his post match pressers. Just once, 'that's on me' would really show some humility and really being 'one of out own' and a responsible part of it all.

I've no doubt he'll still be here next season. COH won't/ daren't roll the dice again too soon after the Selles debacle but, at some stage, we need new blood in the dugout and behind the scenes to breath new life into this tired club and set up.

It's mid March, and another rinse and repeat season beckons already.

League positions of teams we have scored 3+ against:

24th
22nd
21st (twice)
20th
19th
16th
10th (who had 10 men for 70+ minutes)
6th (where we still lost anyway)
4th

I would guess the answer actually is that a run where we played a lot of teams who are even worse than us stopped?
