To be fair, you can usually tell when a rumour is believable.

LYDON doesn't bang on about how he is ITK, and hasn't to my knowledge offered any info of this sort before.

Indeed, just as I said. They are not, however, updated 24/7. They may hear from time to time which players we have targeted, but the manager doesn't send them daily updates. Still. If you want your fifteen fame filled minutes. better get in line....

Looking at Clarke's stats this season, it's not as bad as I thought - 18 goals in 37 games in all competitions. Must have been injured recently. There's no reason he should stop scoring goals due to his age either, as he's never relied on his athleticism. There's no doubt he'd be a much better option than Sammon, but I still hope we're aiming a bit higher.

A potential signing heard from a club sponsor is exactly the type of rumour that should be posted about.

Bit belated but that is awful. RIP. Hope he can move on peacefully from that sort of nightmare.

As a signing he would be a good acquisition. Effective & Experienced at this level and never seen him have a bad game against us. It's a yes from me.

I get that but sometimes it gets tedious and you can't catch up with all the posts on other threads. You never know, one post earlier in the thread could recollect something and get debate going? It's also good to see how others opinions can change and makes a nice refreshing change instead of seeing posters sticking on one side of the fence.
