Leeds could be in trouble if they fail to get promotion

I was and was much better off financially and morally, a time when the working man wasn't treated like a piece of replaceable shit. Zero hour contracts anybody.
The world is your oyster if you can be arsed to go out and find it. Unfortunately, when Labour are in charge you don’t need to….they just hand you things on a plate and waste £billions

Local councils have had their budgets cut by over 70% in the last 10 years, guess who cut it ? your shower of shit. Remember sure starts.
A bit presumptuous pal……”your shower of shit”. I’ve never voted Tory in my life.
I’m just expressing my opinion on the failings of Labour whenever they’ve been in power and the utter mess and chaos they leave behind

good news that bodes well, you have go down to the 8th tier to find a team that finished just outside automatic places that won their playoffs

League 1 - 3rd Bolton - lost in final to 5th
League 2 - 4th Mk dons - lost in semis & 7th promoted
National League - 2nd Barnet - Lost in Semis & 3rd promoted
National League North - 2nd Scunthorpe - Lost in Semis & 6th promoted
National League South - 2nd Chelmsford - Lost in Semis & 5th promoted
& in all 4 divisions of 7th tier 2nd placed lost in the final to 3rd, who got promoted
Outstanding bit of research sheff_blade90, love it.

Yes…..recovering from the last time Labour were in charge……wasting my hard earned tax on hand outs to people who couldn’t be arsed to get off their arses🙈
Yep, you defo have been hibernating whilst simultaneously cry wanking over Julia Heartless Bruiser and Isabel Oakeshitt columns 🤣🤣 Wait until you hear about how much taxpayers money was awarded to lazy arsed PPE VIP laners...

🤣 you forgot to mention all the £billions they wasted and are still wasting in local councils
Are those the councils that had their funding slashed over the last 14 years to the point that they can barely provide statutory services? Even Tory councils have been kicking off about it.

You sound a bit selfish. Not bothered about the wellbeing of those less fortunate?

If only you knew pal…..you couldn’t be any further off the mark

Is this forum run by communists now, or is it ok to continue with free speech…..just asking like🥴
So you feel free speech is under threat because people are disagreeing with you? Best of all, they are commies because they're calling out your bollox? Keep digging birdbrain 🤣🤣

However Leeds currently have a season ticket waiting list of 25K and it costs £10 to go on that list too.
If their capacity was big enough, reckon they could average 45K, maybe even 50K if doing well in the Championship
and initially they could average 60K in the Premier League.
Not disagreeing to be fair but if you look at the catchment area it is huge, just the city of Leeds alone is 790K+ granted not all of these are going to be football fans but that goes into all the suburbs even if they have a 1st team that they follow that is non-league their "2nd team" is usually Leeds. I grew up in North Yorkshire with my Dad being in the Army after I got married and moved into West Yorkshire mainly for value for money and handy commuter links with my job (pre-covid). In North Yorkshire (in the Catterick area) you do get a mix of Boro and Newcastle fans (claim to be long term but who knows) and the usual mix of glory hunters but surprisingly a lot of Leeds fans in North Yorkshire, that spreads throughout West Yorkshire too with only Huddersfield and Bradford as "true competition" although both have a hard core base their glory fans of the Premier League days have long gone. On a Leeds match day Leeds Bradford Airport is always packed with both Northern Irish and Republic of Ireland fans that make the short 1 hour flight first thing and go to the game and fly back later in the day.

The claim of "Leeds could have taken more" could well be true but a 1 city team with international following and a generation that still has memories of the 70s and the 2000s top flight eras should draw in a big crowd. But the prime showing of this is when they were in the championship in 2012/13 season as an example average home attendance of 21,572 which for the Championship is low. Regardless of their claim to be "true supporters" when a dip in form/leagues happens over 13,000 drops off their average home attendance.

I don’t see Leeds being in financial shit if they don’t go up, due to being owned by the 49ers
It’s nowt to do with how much you can pump in though and all to do with how much you lose.

I guess that’s why the working class voted against them (democratically)

I was. Introduced the National Minimum Wage and Sure Start centres. Funded the NHS & education properly, waiting lists a fraction of what they are today.
Before i start i am not a conservative but if a minimum wage is regarded as a good for the workers then i disagree. As a teacher both higher and secondary education started to be underfunded and nhs waiting lists were manipulated to give shorter waiting times. I am not a conservative or a supporter of labour but was a socialist who became disillusioned with the direction of labour and it’s identity politics that effectively divorced the Labour movement from the people it used to represent and put it in the hands of a north london clique.
