I think it’s unfair unless all parties asked, everyone in a free world but very sly in my book.
Dock em 20 fucking tramps

bornablade i have no doubt that he wouldn't have said anything but it makes to change to be honest when caught too many times we seen them just add lie upon lie & as said before when chairman said remind him of clubs integratey its will be we are "dirty leeds carry on"

Hamburg Blade you stand outside MI5 on public land with a clipboard & camera. or look into windows of anyones house with binoculars while on pavement see how legal this is

I've never been up to our training ground but apparently you can see what's going off from the road.

You can. But Thursday and Friday when they do tactical stuff you’re not allowed in. MTW is allowed. Or at least was.

Got to say I hate Leeds with a passion, but I cant help but like Bielsa....says it as it is, which something we love about Wilder.

He has been incredibly open and honest by letting us know he doesn't need to spy at all. He only does it to settle his anxiety and because there is nothing wrong with it...

Since when was 'it is not wrong' been a reason to do something? He's gone through the whole presentation without admitting it gives a (slight) advantage, which is why he does it.

You don't need to be allowed in if you can see the session from a public footpath, they can't stop you from watching if that's the case. If they do want to stop it then build a wall so that you can't see.

I'd fucking love to see Leeds get docked 100 points but I can't really see that they've done much wrong.

It crosses the line of money and respect, and our tufty has full on respect for everyone,
This bloke hasn’t a clue of our mentality or sportsmanship.
Glad it’s leeds utb

What law is being broken? I doubt very much you can see anything by standing outside MI5. I'm not sure what law you are breaking by using binoculars to peer into someone's house, but I suspect a private residence is different to commercial land anyway. The police were called and he wasn't arrested, which tells me he didn't break any laws.

This says it all about Leeds. Nothing changes they've got the Argentinian Revie in charge now. Even more incentive to beat them when we play them again.

Leeds aren’t falling apart, nothing will happen except he’ll get a £10k fine and be ordered not to spy again.

Will be brushed under the carpet as a non event

Yup that about says it all about dirty Leeds, from the Revie days they have always pushed the boundaries of sportsmanship if not downright cheating. Nothing changes at Bellend Rd it has been ingrained in the clubs culture for 50 years, you would be hard put to find a nastier club anywhere in the world little wonder very few wish them well.

LU AFC damaging football for 50 years.

What a cheat ?
Read or watch his press conference today (without your I hate Leeds regardless head on).

If you still think he’s a cheat then fair enough, his attention to detail is more intense than any other manager...appreciate he’s pushed it with the spying, but there’s not much difference between scouting games and watching training. His knowledge and data collection is ridiculously impressive.

Bielsa has basically just told everyone that he knows absolutely everything about every club and said the the football league "what are you going to do about it?"

He even asked the journalist to "pick a match" so he could discuss the oppositions tactics. He's toying with us.

The guys a fucking genius.

His genius shows, he is recognised as one of the great coaches of modern football but i think his formulae of approaching the game dehumanises it to a certain extent.

No, he wasn't.

Last time I played at Derby’s training ground, it was surrounded by fields and fairly easy to watch what was going on. I suspect it’s still the same, chances are you’d be on a public foot path or at worst a farmers field. Unless I’m mistaken it’s a civil matter, so I don’t know why the Police got involved.

Everyone could be doing it, who knows?

Besides, I'm not sure I agree with the logic "Unless everyone else is doing it then it's an unfair advantage" - what if another club adopts some cutting edge sports science nobody else uses? Are they cheating or are they inavative?

I'm not saying it's not bad, I don't like it, I just don't get the fuss.

I've seen people talk about points deductions and "bringing the game into disrepute" - as far as I'm concerned, simulation is worse.

Mourinho reportedly did it in the PL and my guess is he's not the only one.

I don't particularly agree that it's disgraceful anyway, but each to their own.

Fair enough - are there any repercussions for not following the charter, to your knowledge?

Strange logic...

How is simulation worse ?

There not spying on a 5 a side kick about are they ?
What’s the point in training if Leeds are gonna spy on any teams? Yes theres been no rules broken which Is lucky for Leeds. But training is suposed to be behind closed doors it’s cheating nothing else blatant cheating.
It’s daft how much the media have just brushed it of as nothing and something to laugh at.

How can it be cheating if it doesn't break any rules? How can it be worse than actually breaking the rules?

This may be an unpopular view, but I think it's a load of palaver about nothing. There are few morals in football, and we see "cheating" - diving, "winning" penalties, gaining yards on throw-ins and free kicks, timewasting, feigning injuries - every week at most games. Much of this is condoned by pundits (tossers, most of them) and ignored by the authorities. We will have a strong view as a whole because historically we're not too keen on Leeds, but lets not put Lampard on some sort of pedestal - he did play for West Scam after all, and is part of the entitled "golden generation" (that's a laugh!). If Bielsa "spied" on us, I'd say it wasn't that effective as it was a very close game and there was only going to be a goal in it. Leeds took their chance. I agree that there's only a fuss because Lampard has blown it up and he's something of a media darling (fuck knows why!!). I'm no apologist for Leeds, but worse things happen in football and in the world. Let's move on?

Didn’t Frank Lampard doing his own ‘spying’ in Ayia Nappa in 2000? The spicey nonce. :D

Well it's actually against the rules, as mentioned above.

I'm not saying I agree with it, but it seems according to the laws, it's not cheating. And the reason why so many professionals are laughing it off is because they've done it too.

If a club is desperate to train behind closed doors, then they should literally play behind closed doors. Haven't most clubs got indoor pitches these days? Or at least a fence?
