Worth a punt. Chris always want new strikers, and as long as the lad is happy with modest wages and playing his way into the squad, then he seems good.
I see that Joe Gelhart went to school in chesterfield. We might get the double whammy.

Wonder if we still in for him?
Was apparently part of a double deal involving the kid Robinson who snubbed us in favour of more money from Fulham.
Barnsley had offers turned down, would not be surprised to see us going back for him and heard similar the other day.

Unlike "Robinsons" you can never have too many "Kyles".

Our championship strike force won't be a issue next year. It's midfield that needs sorting. Sharp, Mcburnie, Brewster, Mcgoldrick and burke will do...

We really don’t need any strikers. Not young ones, not old ones. Midfielders and defenders please
I’d like to see us address didzy’s role whether that’s signing and playing with an out and out 10 or picking up another link man type striker because there’s no guarantee he’s the same player come September.

McBurnie can absolutely do that in the Championship, or near as damn it. He did it for Swansea for a season and scored 24 goals, prompting us to splash out.
Let's not ping it up to his head for 90 mins.

I agree I’d love to see us use him that way just didn’t want to bring it up as we seem set on using him as a target man.

Agreed, and it's a real shame. The reason I was so excited about the signing in the first place if because of how he played the game (and how he absolutely dry bummed us at the Liberty) - to see us playing him like we are is so annoying.

Yeah when he first came in I was convinced him and Didzy couldn’t play together as they both occupied the same space but that seems to have stopped.

They did originally when they played together, they were both dropping too deep. But we now seem to have convinced Oli he's Kevin Davies reincarnate and told him to stay up the top of the field

I guess we can only hope that against lesser opposition where we’ll see more of the ball he'll drop deeper to influence play. After all playing on the shoulder isn’t a necessity of being an out ball he can still win headers from deep.
