Not really too much of a serious one, but when under Wilder in 2017 we signed Clayton Donaldson for £50,000. Although he had played at Birmingham City, much of his career before that was non-league or League 1. I then started to look at strikers that have played in League 1/2 recently that stand out. This guy is a whopping 6'9 aged 25 with good physical hold up play and naturally good at defending set pieces, and quick over short distances.

Granted he doesn't score a lot, he was at Huddersfield for a bit and scored in the League cup and at Newport getting 6 in 27. He is randomly playing in Vietnam now but maybe not a now striker but if we dropped down a league, he could easily change our League 1 side and be in budget. He potentially could be a threat in the Championship as long as we don't become too much of a hoof ball side but if it won us enough games to stay up I am sure not many would be complaining on the quality of football being offered as now its points desperation. 3 of his Newport goals are below, you can see with the goal against Bradford (3rd) his quick movement off the ball to find space. The 2nd is a pretty tidy finish too, not sure if he can make that step-up though, which is the only question mark but it's not like we haven't had League 1 players under Wilder play at a higher level previously, with him being English he wouldn't have a visa or paperwork problem either.
