It's more beneficial to flatten it and rebuild completely whilst in this league. The season ticket holders can go on bramall lane upper/Westfield corner and put away fans on the lower. Do it as a championship club it'll be a struggle to accommodate everyone!

Money no object and unlimited restrictions on height and footprint? Sure knock the lot down and build a right stand. In fact why not just start again and rebuild the entire ground?

If one of the motivations to expanding the capacity is to make it a viable venue for future tournaments (which we know it is given our interest in the World Cup bid), there is some logic in improving the overall facilities at the same time.

What a relief there is money to spend on this project. How fine this stadium will look in league one.

If there is money to be spent, it should go on the team.

That's the point, it won't make money. We spent fuck all on the kop and have filled it with 10000 people ever since, plus sold a few pies and pints. We could have spent 20 million, it would still have been filled with 10000 people and a few pie sales. And resulted in lots of extra player sales.

I just don't see the business case, unless the existing banqueting / conference facilities are booked up, which they aren't.
