I hope that's not the away kit, it's bloody awful. Horrible colour.

Are we slow at these things, or is it that many clubs are quite quick to release?

The majority don't release them this early do they? As in before the seasons ended, seems like there's a few that jump on the "Wear it for the last game" bandwagon, but as far as I remember it's a summer release

There do seem to be more releasing it early though this year

Bayern have this new adidas template (also Palmeiras have it in Green and White) - I did wonder if you replaced the white with black and the broader stripes were red and white....? Not sure I would go for it as I think the main stripes would be too broad but just thinking about the pinstripe rumour.

I think that would be a fantastic shirt with the amendments you describe. Thick stripes, black dividing stripes, round collar, what's not to like.

I am quite frankly appalled that you think the issue of beach towels and displaying of said item should rank so low on our Board meeting agenda
Couldn't agree more.

The latest design looks crap on a sun bed.

Too much red and not enough contrast.

Promotion's not good enough when you can't broadcast it properly on holiday.

McCabe out!!!

Newcastle's new shirt in traditional black and white stripes is stripey on the back as well as the front, with the number in red. So if there is such a rule the Geordies don't know about it yet.

What's with the barcode across the chest? Is it so you can self serve in the club shop or is it some modern version of the Rosetta Stone?

You joke, but next season's Schalke 04 shirt has a chip installed in it so you can buy your food and drink in the ground with it: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4519316/Schalke-fans-pay-food-shirt-season.html

Schalke's new jersey will have an integrated chip that will allow the wearer to pay for services as part of the club's new sponsorship agreement with an online supermarket.

The Bundesliga club says it will bear the logo of AllyouneedFresh on its shirt sleeves and that the logo contains a payment chip 'so that all fans can pay with their jerseys' in its stadium.

Fans will be able to use it to purchase sausages and beer, for example. The deal is to run for four years from next season.
