I've texted(tweeted) to Director of Club on twitter on last Thursday and replied as ''The new seasons home kit will be announced in a week or max 10 days''.. so I'm waiting it to be announced this week.

I think Liverpool had a similar pattern for their silver away kit in 80s. It was quite a popular Adidas template at the time, when shadow patterning was a new thing.

I think the blue one was made up from a pattern of the adidas logo so I doubt Man U could claim it.

Its the best kit blunder of all time, you can get them occasionally on ebay. really expensive though.

This explains a lot – saw someone walking along Bramall Lane before the game on Sunday and was wondering how they'd managed to come across a sponsor-free shirt (I assumed it was a DIY job). Would love this site to do the same to this year's home kit, which is slightly ruined by the doordeals patch on the back...

I know a guy who was wearing one that day so could enquire if you wish
