Looks like a proper kit, shirt, shorts and socks, not to much fannying around, black shorts and socks for me everytime, too often shirts are made with an eye fir the leisure market, bollocks to that its a football shirt 1st and 2 nd. and every fan wants it that way, successful looking kit ;-)

100 x better than the Back Craps version, I prefer striped sleeves but this one is the most sylish kit for years.

I like the black side panels though in the XXL versions there might have to be bits of white peeping out round the edges.

Very black, v. nice Got to say, I've been having a 'teletext holiday' for the past 17 odd years, ever since they invented t'internet ..... what's the point in advertising it?

The standard marketing blurb which came out with it said that it was indeed a bespoke kit:

EDIT: the video on that link has footage of the photoshoot where the shirts don't have sponsors on...want!

I think it's more "cobbled together from pieces of the catalogue" than truly bespoke. A lot of teams this season are going for the Adidas stripes only on the shoulders and several teams are wearing the 70s-style stripes (but how many of those have a 70s-style sponsor? :D).

Still a reyt lush kit though.

no pictures of the keepers home kit wonder if they're still working on that

Like it. Must say though I'm not 100% certain about the all black sleeves, can't help but think it'd have been nicer in red and white stripes or all red! The sponsor doesn't look too bad imo but looks 10x better without one in the promo video. 8/10 from me, will buy when it gets reduced just like last season's :) (I'm a student, forgive me)

If I was the owner worth tens of millions there would be no kit sponsor. Just how cool and unique would that be! The only professional football club in the world where the shirt is not for sale (to sponsors)

Does anyone know if they'll be doing baby/toddler kits this season? They didn't last year and my boy will be 9 months by the time the season starts, and he still doesn't have a shirt!
The provision of anything for small kids is awful. Not just adidas stuff but anything like a bog standard baby grow made out of something other than coal sack cloth would have an enormous profit margin and would be willingly bought by any decent parent trying to exert their influence early.

Really like the new kit but then I did last seasons until I saw it in the flesh.

Always confuses me when I see comments like it's a bit Stoke/Brentford/Sunderland..ish.

We play in red & white stripes ffs!!

It's going to remind you of every other club who play in red & white stripes, there's only so much you can do with it, same as blue & white, green & white or whatever.

All our adidas home shirts have been bespoke. The template is there but the main body of the shirt is our call. As well as the colours of the collar/sleeves etc.

Does the video from the club site work on fellow iPhone users? Not on mine. Not do the links to wilder interviews.

Love the new kit. My missus is buying it for me as a wedding anniversary present(19 years). I suppose I'm going to have to buy her something nice now!!. I'd buy her the away shirt but may just opt for a nice watch instead!. She regularly wears some of the many away shirts that I've got!!. Please don't start formulating any unwelcome images in your minds!!. Utb

With the black sides and sleeves I'm guessing that we've sorted another local sponsor - Bassett's Liquorice allsorts - am hoping for a discount!

Like the new kit, nothing I don't like about it. OK, we're sponsored by Teletext Holidays but they're paying so who's to complain. Could be worse, could be Chupa Chups or Chansari (which I suppose is marginally better than his product which is bizarrely called Chicken of the Sea - WTF? Isn't that just a bloody seagull?).

Socks - black is good. Have you tried washing white socks after a game of footy?

Collar - glad it's not a flappy collar, is it Derby who look like they're posh kids turning up for hockey practice PE session at Eton?

I think this kit will sell and sell well... Nice one Blades.
