So whens the away kit out? Let's hope for better luck with that...

Come to think of it, are we selling any more of last season's kit instead?

It's embarrassing really.... all that incredibly drawn out, #ForgedInShite marketing and they don't even know the basic preferences of their target audience. It's amateurish.

View attachment 40984 Crazy how 5 minutes of MS Paint can make a better kit than the morons who took 3 months to design it.

Unbelievable isn't it?

And just to prove there's no obligation to have Ramsdens in green, here's Middlesbrough's kit from last season....

if the same person designed the away kit it will probably be blue and white stripes o_O

It’s absolute gash. 200 little Vietnamese kids probably wasted their time making this shite.

No wonder they were so coy with the "reveals" - it's terrible.
- White sleeves? Wrong.
- Plain white back? Doubly wrong (if it has to be plain make it red).
- Massive sponsor logo? Wrong.
Looks like something rejected by Stoke or Cheltenham. Get Umbro in and let's have something that actually looks like a Sheffield United shirt.

That's the last time I ever open up my heart to the possibility of happiness again.

Steady on, now. Hang in there. Big hug for ya :)

You forgot to specify S/M/L/XL/XXL

Not sure what size is pictured, but one (two?) of those would fit me just right, please :)

Oh, and what a shit abomination of a kit. Fucking awful.

Why does everyone keep saying get umbro in as though they'd do a fantastic job. We'd just get an Umbro template instead of an Adidas one, and Adidas at least have more templates to choose from.

I don't care about it being a template. A red & white version of Huddersfield's home shirt would do just fine for me:
- stripes on the sleeves (why can't adidas cope with stripey sleeves?)
- stripes on the back (no marketing "identity" bullshit)
They could give us a yellow & black version of the Peru shirt as an away kit. Job done.

Rubbish. Why a green sponsor? Just make the lettering black and white like the last few years.

Lack of stripes on back is too glaring, at least have something red on the back like some piping or something. Might look a bit better with names and numbers but still poor.

I don't buy many kits these days, but got the last 2 years as they were excellent. Won't be buying this one.

3/10

*edit. that pig kit is better than ours, let's not deny it.

I think that's a bit too plain personally, I appreciate that this and last season's were different to others even though a lot of people don't like this one.

It'd be nice to work with someone with the quality and number of possibilities design wise of Adidas with the seeming lack of bullshit as Umbro.

I think Under Armour would be a good fit. They also have good quality lifestyle stuff I imagine.

Yeah, the green is just fucking weird. Why? Who the fuck turned round and said 'can we have it in green?' of all fucking colours? Surely the default black would have been the obvious choice?

Spent most of last season laughing at Sunderland’s awful team and their equally awful kit............You might be onto something there.

Our kit is nowhere near that shite, come on.

That was a butchers apron not a football kit.

Our kit is marmite, so who has the final word on what's good and bad? Let's hope they like it if good kit = good season is true.

Hopefully the away kit will save the day

Having taken notice of the fans concerns regarding the colour of the sponsors logo's not matching the Home strip colours the club have announced this season's away strip will be green shirts and orange shorts :D

Sorry, but it really is.

Who does the kit matter to?

The fans.

After that? Nobody.

So why not ask the fans what they want? Or take just a little bit of time to find out what their preferences are?

I agree that we should know who gave this garbage the green light.

Pigs gone back to stripes too........ At least our stripes are the same width!!!! :D

That's a pretty poor shirt, they may have stripes but its from a traditional striped shirt bit like the Le Coq efforts we used to have.

It might have stripes but it'll still be an itchy polyester bin bag that doesn't fit properly.
