You just never know, there's a lot of reasons this could work for Phillips.

He's local to home, he's (presumably) back with his mates (Shackleton, Bamford, Rothwell) and Wilder is the type of manager who you'd think he might connect with.

There's loads of upside to this deal and minimal down, given where we are in the league.

I like the punt a lot and wish Barkley was coming with him for the same reasons.

With Davies and Jairo injured, Blaster miles off it, Matos crap and Soumare unreliable its the right move to shore up midfield.

Joc got injured as civil started. I think the first game he didn't play was the villa game. We signed berge 5 months before
