Footballers are treated as commodities by lots of clubs and I guess many players don't help themselves but who can blame any player who was offered a chance at Man City. But they have ruined some players and then have loaned them out not necessarily to a club that is the best for that player at that time. I hope Phillips can just come and play football, be respected for the good player he is and add something to the dressing room which may help our youngsters. I have no doubt Bamford is a big reason we have got him.
