Or do we get a fairly recent England international who simply made the mistake of chasing the £ signs at Man City when he'd have been better off signing somewhere else.

It's not like he's been perennially injured or is a bad egg who upsets the apple cart. Very much a Wilder reclamation project again but its a bit different to trying to extract the potential from Ravel Morrison or getting a tune out of Jack Rodwell who had always been in and out, injured, refusing to play etc.

This is a great point. My hope is we can keep them together next season. Really want us to be ready fit next season.
