Incoming? Josh Bowler

Fucking hell no. The kind of high wage mediocrity that led us to league one the last time we plummeted.

No. Either sign a good young prem talent on loan or make a genuine investment in a player like Liam Millar.

Josh bowler, tyrese Campbell, Shackleton, dozzell. This is pound shop dogshit and a disgrace for a club in receipt of parachute payments that sold its BEST TWO PLAYERS last summer and already brought in almost £10m in transfer fees this summer.

Sincerely, I fuckin hate that Prince. Hurry up and sell up yer boring dead eyed shifty cunt
Josh Bowler doesn't belong in with those 3, he was signed for millions by Forest after being outstanding for Blackpool.

Odd rant.

Don't totally disagree with the principle, but the rebuild is massive.
They can't all be Callum O'Hare's.

We've lost: Bogle, Baldock, Basham, Egan, Lowe, Osborn, Norwood, Fleck, Traoré, McBurnie & Jebbison.
We only received about £6.5m in fees for that lot. We have to take some punts.
More like around 10m - which is bloody great by our standards

It's a lot of experience and quality to replace but it's doable. The only one I'm truly bothered about is McBurnie - that's a huge blow. The only other viable departure that would hurt us is Hamer - but we'd actually be getting a very decent fee for him so could do a lot with it

Is CW's knobhead test still a thing? By all accounts Bowler is a full-weighter and would be in severe danger of failing. Talented play when he puts his mind to it though

You're right. Forgot about Traoré fee.

I'm quite chuffed about how things are shaping up on the field.
CW has ticked a lot of boxes so far for me.
A fresh start with a virtually new side is something we need.
A lot of players we held bladey bladey sentimental values have left, they all played a part in an exciting chapter.
This feels very much like the season when tufty first arrived.
Re build, and see where it takes us.
I'm expecting no miracles this coming season, but as it's drawing nearer, the more I'm looking forward to it

Got to agree with this. I was against him coming back, and was hoping we’d have replaced him over the summer, but I have to hold my hands up and say he’s doing well so far and I’m pleased with both his recruitment and tactical approach.

But is it Wilder? List 1 or List2

Brewster was signed for millions after being brilliant for Swansea.

Bowler struggled to play well for Cardiff last season, its not as if he’s had a dip for one season after years of being a top performer, it’s been 3 years and he’s done nothing. Suggests the good season for Blackpool was the exception rather than the rule.

It would be a very weak signing and he certainly wouldn’t be on peanuts either

It would be anything but a weak signing

Did Bowler have sexual relations with someone you love?!

He's had an underwhelming couple of years after Forest bought everyone and fucked him around.

But two years ago he was one of the best players in the Championship. Seemingly we want to start playing wingers. He plays as a winger.

2 years ago and he’s been rubbish since and couldn’t impress at Cardiff.

I don’t put a great deal of stock in the idea of a player being great in the championship for a whopping one season 2 years ago.

In fact, I’ve just had a realisation that my anger about the prospect of us signing Bowler is all about the idea of us being stuck with the Prince and basically now being a bottom half of the championship team.

But Chris has to do the best for the club with the actual resources he has, if Bowler genuinely is the best he can bring in to make sure we’re at least not getting relegated to league one then so be it. Id get behind Josh and hope we’re the place for him to find his best form again.

Christ that prince is killing this club

If Bowler signs, this could end up as a master stroke. He has the ability to create havoc on the wing and at this level too. Forest hasn't worked for him so I think he'll be eager to get his career back on track. No offense to Cardiff, but we should offer more attacking intent to show case his skills. Does he tick Wilder's boxes?? 🤔
