I wouldn't, Forrest have paid over the odds for loads of crap. Let them struggle with FFP.

Take him on a free or a cheap deal but a loan is not appealing.

What I'm learning from all these rumours is that Forest have a fucking weird and bloated squad. I know their transfer strategy was notoriously impulsive and scattergun, but the makeup of their extended squad is bizarre! It's like a mix between a 2020 Championship all star team and a load of overhyped Champ Manager player's wet dreams.

Wasn't he at Blackpool ?

He was.

Looked excellent against us 2/3 seasons ago... he was one I would've wanted back then (especially at a young age) but Forest were hoovering up anybody half decent at the time.

Hasn't really kicked on since Blackpool, but there's a player in there.
My memory of him was that he was very confident picking up the ball and running with it. Quite a direct player.

Was really good before Forest effectively put a hold on his career.
Signed him, never played him, sent him off to sister club Olympiakos where he didn't play.
Loaned out to Blackpool and Cardiff since (both poor sides).

Would be an upgrade on Brooks in that RW position, cutting in on his left.

Hopefully it'll be a loan with option to buy at the end of it.
If he kicks on, we sign him at the end of the season.
If he doesn't we just send him back to Forest.

They did similar with Toffolo & O'Brien who have both really stagnated since going there.

There's a lot of Forest players I'd take. Worrall, McKenna (now a free agent), O'Brien & Bowler would all be good squad additions.
There's probably more too knowing them.

When Cooper went in, it was absolutely ludicrous the number of players they signed. Feels like he bought about 80 players, and only bothered to play maybe 35 of them.

I remember thinking how good this lad looked on the wing for Blackpool back in the day. Looked like a very skilfull player. Since then, forgot he even existed.

I'm on board with this

Fucking hell no. The kind of high wage mediocrity that led us to league one the last time we plummeted.

No. Either sign a good young prem talent on loan or make a genuine investment in a player like Liam Millar.

Josh bowler, tyrese Campbell, Shackleton, dozzell. This is pound shop dogshit and a disgrace for a club in receipt of parachute payments that sold its BEST TWO PLAYERS last summer and already brought in almost £10m in transfer fees this summer.

Sincerely, I fuckin hate that Prince. Hurry up and sell up yer boring dead eyed shifty cunt

In 18/19 we signed the following players (among others)
  • David McGoldrick
  • Oliver Norwood
  • Gary Madine
  • John Egan
Not to mention the likes of Martin Cranie, Scott Hogan and Conor Washington.

All of these players were signed due to them either being free, cheap or going a bit stale at their other clubs. Pretty much all of them contributed meaningfully to our promotion. Granted, it was needs must that season, but it's very very reasonable to sign players who, like Bowler, have plateaued out due to lack of opportunity or are surplus at clubs in better positions than us.
