???? am I wrong? If so state why?

Clearly he didn’t sell those players. Everyone, well clearly not everyone, knows they were sold for financial necessity ( yes, and owner underfunding) but you really believe Ayew is an owner or Bettis signing? I suppose Donovan is a CW find while Cannon, who when shite was an owner signing initially but may become another Tufty signing if he continues scoring!

Of course, if you have proof l will apologise…….

Buddy i said they were NOT CW led!

Who else would want Ayew in on cheap wages?

I know. That’s what my first sentence says.

Going out on a limb here but you believe Wilder didn’t have any input into Ayew?

Reading this l can only assume Rosen has kidnapped Wilders dog or Chris is now a yes man. I hope the dog is okay.

He didnt kidnap his dog. I did!

Imagine getting your information from a Ghanian website! If anyone calls you in the near future, don't give them your mother's maiden name buddy!!

One thing is for sure, he can't be worse than Wayne Allison!
Chris Porter. Chris Guthrie. Danny Ings. Daniel Jebbison, Cameron Archer. Rhian Brewster and Michael Hobson to name but seven! Have all been worse than Wayne Allison imho.
I thought Wayne was a good pro. Ok he wasn't a world beater but he was worth the shirt.
From what reviews I read about Ayew , he is shocking.
All we can do though is wait and see.

One of those has now gone. Another has been made captain by Wilder. This is absolutely his squad.
I didn't mean to imply otherwise. The financial outlay of that summer window given the quality of what came in was an absolute killer though, even after they've gone.

(To anticipate the bad faith reading: Wilder has also made expensive signings that have failed).

Maybe he is the new McGoldrick

Forgot that everything African is automatically dodgy.

Much the same from somewhere nearer to home but with probably less credibility

His World Cup stats are pretty impressive
4 games (starts)
0 goals
0 assists
0 shots
✅
Let’s sign him!

In the context he Captained the only world cup team to stop England from scoring, he may have some redeeming features..

I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed in this signing due to their own expectations of what we've signed.

Ayew has not been brought in to be a 20-goal striker. I'd be surprised if he gets more than 1 goal this season.

What I'm confident he has been bought for is to be used to get us up the pitch when Bamford isn't playing. On Tuesday we had Cannon up front who can't hold the ball up so we ended up playing from of our own box and it didn't go well.

Ayew should be the strong big lad you lump the ball to and he helps you get up the pitch without having to fanny about with it outside your own box.

A job that he couldn't do during the World Cup.

He's 5.11 hardly a big lad

Been out of the loop today so I've only just caught up with our latest foray into the free market. Why are we turning Bramall Lane into a fucking retirement village?
Two new directors have joined the board - McCarthy and Stone

That's a couple of levels above the calibre of players he will be up against this year.
What, the Panama central defence?

Anyway, by all accounts he couldn't do it in the Championship last season.

I don't know if we're all getting a bit too bothered about this.

He's there to fill in, help us keep the ball and get up the pitch.

He hasn't been signed to be our main man. I think he'll be fine for what we need him for.
