Going against alot of the grain from above here but...

We need more options up top and he might be a useful one if we can get something out of him like what he has produced over his career.
He may be a good foil for the side in terms of hold up and bringing players into play. Which is what we need a bit of.

I'm not backing him to do well I'm just open to giving him a go. I'd only want to see a contract though through to Jan or end of season for now given his age.

Several seasons ago this forum and the fanbase was doing it's nut in when we missed out on Waghorn and signed Didsy.
Sometimes the signings you least expect end up being worthwhile. If he signs give him a chance.

We're well stocked for forwards in Bamford, Cannon, Campbell and One, what on earth does Ayew bring aside from excessive wages? We desperately need athleticism and pace.

Danny Ings is like Linford Christie compared to Jordan Ayew (who was finished as a player years ago). I presume none of our staff have watched him in recent years. They all need sacking if this transfer happens

We have more experience than the majority of sides in the league. What we desperately lack (and have for years) is athleticism.
