Jairo was one of those players who looked quality on the ball, yet never really looked comfortable with the pace of Premier League football.
Yet he was with us for years, did a professional job as a squad player, and never seemed to complain.
He's one of those players who left on good terms at the end of their contract - we were sorry to see him go on a personal level, and he had a good farewell in front of the fans, but the harsh reality is we had better players.
At the very least, he should bring ability on the ball and experience to the team. Will be interesting to see how he handles the more chaotic and physical elements of a Championship scrap, though.
