To be fair I think that is possibly what we have been lacking although it’s great to get the creative types like we have/have had but sometimes you just need someone to make a nuisance of themselves, get the ball and make a sensible short pass and get momentum going. Probably the worse comparison ever but in a way going back to Monty his best attribute other than tackling and work rate was the ability to play a simple 5-10 yard pass keeping it simple, if Riedewald can do that for us then there isn’t much more needed.

With Soumare getting better each game, Peck looking more like his old self, and Davies and Arblaster not too far off, we have a decent midfield group here. Mattos looks like the weak link at the moment, but there is time for him to develop.
